View Full Version : McNair tidbits.
Monday's game will mark the first time Ravens quarterback Steve McNair plays against the Broncos. Other than Tennessee, where McNair spent his first 11 seasons, Denver is the only team McNair hasn't faced. He was inactive in 1995 and injured in 2004 when Tennessee played Denver.

Steve McNair's 75.4 passer rating is in the dreaded Kyle Boller Zone (71.7 in 2005). Must be the 23 yards rushing on 10 carries.

I think the Qb ratings can be overrated at times. I believe, Steve has lead at least two game winning drives this year for Balitmore. THus, he have been clutch when needed versus all game long.

One thing I had forgotten about was Dinger being McNair's coordinator for a while. A lot of us have been talking about how Anderson and Pryce know our strengths and weaknesses, well Dinger know's that about one of the most important players for the Ravens in McNair. Add his insight on Derrick Mason and our D has a good shot at their O.

Interesting tidbit. I would never have thought that McNair has never played the Broncos.

Elway once mentioned a story about playing against Shanny's Raiders and Shanny running some defense that he knew John had trouble with.
So maybe dinger can be a positive this game?
