He had 2 receptions for 61 yards ??? ??? ???

The falcons did run for 262 yards however!

Vick is amazing. 101 yards on 11 carries.

I bet he sure is basking in the glory of being a #1 WR now....oh wait, he isn't the Falcons #1 WR. I bet he is loving the opportunity to get a big year and cash in during free agency, oh wait, he's on pace for less than 30 catches, less than 500 yards and 0 TD's. Great job holding out, Ashley.

If it was the Chiefs the thread would be "The Chiefs have an Offense!"

Hahaha. If you were ever wondering, Ashley, I'm very happy with Javon. ;P

Vick is "amazing"?

He sure is. Im amazed that a pro athlete has fooled so many consumers into thinking that he has some skill of substance.

Now, Ron Mexico...he seems to have a marketable skill. A little too marketable.

Say what you want, but Vick is a very good QB although he does this mostly by running you have to be smart.

The Falcons are going to win their division this year. Wanna Bet???

Im sure that the Falcons will have a legit shot at that division. Im also sure that they would be much better off with Matt Shaub at QB.

Most have jumped off the Vick bandwagon. Woody Paige continues to make a fool of himself tho. Mke Vick has as much chance of winning a SB as his little brother.

I'll cut VY slack because his team sucks, but I predict a similar fate on a worse team. There is only one good team in the NFC, Chicago. I refuse believe that Chicago is that good. The Hornheads had the game won before Taylor got stripped and they scored 19 points in 5 minutes.

It's a weak conference plain and simple. Seattle was handed their head on a platter.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I agree with Llama. Vick is exciting running the ball, but a playoff caliber defense will generally shut that down. He is going to have to beat teams with his arm at some point, and he has not shown he can do that.

[QUOTE=Atlas;1295190]Say what you want, but Vick is a very good QB QUOTE]

No, he's not. He's a very good athlete, but he's not a very good QB. To be a good QB, you have to be better than this by your sixth year:

Personal best completion percentage: 56%
Most TDs thrown in a season: 16
Most yards thrown for in a season: 2,900
Best QB rating: 81.6

Sorry, but these are not the numbers of a "very good QB". He relies too much on running, and soon he won't even be able to do that due to his age, injuries, and defenses becoming faster than him year after year. He is easily the most overrated athlete in recent memory.

Vick isn't a good passer BUT if he can stay healthy he can be a great QB. As far as moving the ball. He is so athletic. I know everyone here hates him but he is a great athlete. Everyone wrote the Falcons off this year. They might be the best team in the NFC.

Like I said he isn't a good passer but take in all that he does from the QB position and yes he is a good QB. As far as he moves the ball. He leads the Falcons making them the best rushing team in the NFL and leading the league in TOP.

This could be a big year for the Falcons.

What can you do when you have an icon like Roddy White in front of you?

This seemed like a good spot for this tidbit about Lelie from Mora Jr. I had on my fantasy football page.

Coach Jim Mora said Tuesday that WR Ashley Lelie may remain in the starting lineup in part because of how well he's blocked in the running game.

Impact: "Everybody knows Ashley can stretch the field," Mora said. "He can fly. He's made some nice catches the last two weeks, and he catches the ball well on the slam, the inside stuff. The one thing that was a question for us when we were making the trade was what kind of blocker would he be for us in the run game, and he's done a nice job. He's bought into the culture." Atlanta receivers are still iffy, but Lelie at least has some potential.

I'm just praying that he re-ups with Atlanta for awhile. Once he hits the open market, I can see SD, KC, Indy, and NE all going after him quickly. I would not to to meet him when he is actually playing in a passing offense where the QB can get him the ball.

"Adequately" would be more accurate. But he definately has improved from the early days, no question.
