I did it 10 minutes after seeing his thread. He actually ruins the best site on the internet and Taco either doesn't realise it or doesn't care. Bob's abilty to make threads is this website's only negative.

It isn't like banning him from making threads can't be done, I am a member of another vBulletin message board for a soccer team where the rivalry is so fierce that you have to have a number of posts to enter certain areas, to weed out people that register, abuse and are banned.

As soon as I saw that thread today my heart sank, it was a pleasant 2 weeks. This place had more productive chat when he was gone. If he HAS to contribute to threads, let him, hopefully enough people will put him on ignore. He seriously can ruin the enjoyment of this site and I am sure I am not alone, I seriously considered defecting to BroncosFreak for, like, 5 minutes, but this place for the last 2 weeks has reminded me what an awesome online community we have.

I don't really like him and I stay away from threads that he starts I would not even want to assciate with him anywhere under any circumstance,(I have him on ignore), but I did vote for him for the simple fact that people around here love him. For whatever reason, every thread he starts goes a minimum of 5 pages. So I guess that like him or hate him he is good for the board.

I don't like to read threads he starts because they are usually just Chiefs propaganda. He is a Chief fan, and while he is a big chief homer he sometimes has valid takes, that apply to the Broncos.

Taco doesn't need to ban him...you have tools that allow you some control yourself. If it bothers you..put him on ignore.

All I ask is that the ignore feature be fixed. It doesn't do any good to ignore someone when their stupidity still gets through. There has to be a way to ignore posts where the ignored individual is quoted and threads started by the ignored. If it's not possible, maybe a feature enhancement request is in order.

Honestly, Bob is a Chiefs fan and sure on a Broncos oriented board that is annoying, but he is also not a liar about the affairs of his team, Denver or any other in the league. Plus he has posted like 15000 times which is a lot more than a lot of us Broncos fans.

It was a good effort SoDak, but if I was you this whole post that started this thread would have been nothing but a call to ignore Bob, while it actually sounded like you wanted him banned. As far as my feelings on him, his act is old. He's a decent guy when he wants to be but beating him down is just boring now. He tries to antagonize people and lots of us (myself included) get into a pissing match with him.

Want to make Bob go away? Put him on ignore and don't quote his posts. He's an attention whore, and denying him that attention is what will hurt him. Prime example being when he put me on ignore and threatened to ignore anyone who quoted my posts. What happened? 80% of the posters here quoted me just to piss him off and when he realized he would have virtually no one to talk to and give him attention, he broke down and took us all off ignore.

Its actually not Boob's fault. He cant control himself when he posts so it really falls on the Mods to take care of useless posts. Im not sure how many mods we have but if half of them deleted his useless posts than Bob would be fine. Overall, i find Bob amusing and in some cases a good guy. He just has this urge to post fifty times on here and about 1-3 of them are worthy while the others are rubbish. But its not on him, the board administrators should be moderating his threads.
