thats not really a stat to start a thread about, now if it was like 50 i'd be impressed but that simply can say that LT had a bad day, no big deal

I still think the Ravens are a 9 or 10 win team...they keep scratching out games at the end. Despite all the tiresome hype (again) about Ray Lewis and the defense, I'm not sold.

Their defense is great...if you are gonna deny that you needa check your hate meter.

It must have been hard to guess run every play with captain Schottenheimer at the helm.

Yea. We're not going to be able to get too cute next week. A lot of the areas we've had trouble with are going to be tested... pass protection, short yardage running, our own pass rush, etc.

As cliche' as it sounds, the Ravens really do use their defense to force you to play their style of football. Think about the last time the were in town. They were really struggling, and we still barely got by them... in a low scoring game.

These are the types of games your defense has to win for you. Those who think we deserve to lose if we don't score on every single possession may not want to tune in next week.

It's going to be a playoff-style football game, and we're about to find out if we're ready.

I don't see how 98 yards in a Herm Edwards offense is stout defense.

The Ravens always play us tough. We had a hell of a time beating them at home last year. Our defense is probably better right now than it was last year when we played them, but so is their offense.

Still, I see it being another low scoring game like last year, with us winning on a final drive.

Thats very true, last year, both Ray-Ray and Jamal were out as well as a couple other defensive starters and they had Mr. 'Self-Destuct' at QB and we still barely snuck by them here at home.

We can beat them if we are playing mistake free ball on both sides with a good game plan, but any slip up and we'll be 2-2 this time next Monday.

here s a few of thier injires from a preview ofteh game last year that we won at home 12-10,

2005 Broncos-Ravens preview

" ....The Ravens have won two of their last three games in what has been a difficult season.

"In the end, coaches are teachers, and going through what we're going through this season has created lessons a lot of us are experiencing for the first time," coach Brian Billick said. "You keep learning and you keep teaching."

The Ravens keep getting injured, too.

Baltimore has dealt with the loss of several key starters, including quarterback Kyle Boller and fullback Alan Ricard, who was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 28.

Left tackle Jonathan Ogden strained his hamstring in the first quarter of last week's 16-15 victory over Houston and not return. Offensive linemen Orlando Brown and Keydrick Vincent, cornerback Chris McAlister and defensive end Anthony Weaver sat out with injuries.

Linebacker Ray Lewis became the latest addition to injured reserve Wednesday when he underwent season-ending surgery on his torn right hamstring. Lewis had been sidelined since Oct. 23 and played in just six games.

"It was the right thing to do. It gives him the maximum rehab time," Billick said.

Last week's win, though, did see safety Ed Reed after missing six games with an ankle injury.

Jamal Lewis is out as well."

Needless to say, they are in a whole lot better shape this year.

Yea, no question there. I do like them coming off of a big win and having to hit the road. But, this will be another huge test for us. We'll find out if we can line up and go right at a team... because that's the only choice they'll give us.

The ravens also played most of the game with 4 downline men and 4 linebackers to stop the run. And when they didn't, Reed was in the "box". Since Marty refused to allow Rivers to throw the ball, the Raven focused on the run. If they do that against Denver, Shanahan and Dinger will throw the ball, unlike SD.

Uh, San Diego did throw the ball. They were having a lot of success early in the game. After halftime however, they made adjustments and forced Rivers to make a mistake late in the game much like they did against Cleveland. Not only does our defense need to play well but its going to come down to which Qb makes the most mistakes down the stretch.

Hater. Nothing good to say about your own team when its obvious that things are starting to come together for the offense.

****ing Raider fan.

True, but their own offense isn't giving them much help and that will eventually come back to haunt them if they do a better job on offense.
