Where it really counts:
Vince Young: 2 TD passes.
Mario Williams 1.5 sacks.
Reggie Bush ZERO TDs.
But watch ESPN continue to suck Reggie's dick week after week.

I for one am personally hoping that the Texans lose the rest of their games, Kubes gets fired, and comes back to Denver.
At first I was all about him being a HC, now I really want him back. Damn you, Houston.

Good for him. Hopefully he can build on this. He really needs a running game to get going, because Carr is starting to look like he gets it.

Their pass protection was a little bit better today and Williams was alright and Demeco Ryans I think is going to be a real good LB for them. If Domanik Davis is the starter next year or if they pick up another good rb this could be a real good team in a year or two with Carr, Johnson, Williams, Ryans.

Reggie's team has more wins than Vince and Mario's teams put together and neither of those guys did anything until today.

We see rookie running backs doing well all throughout the NFL over the years. Rookie QBs and DEs take longer, particularly when they come out as juniors.
Enjoy that 2.0 yards-per-carry St. Reggie put up today? Pathetic.

Kubes? He's as irrelevant as his team. Winning against the Awfulfins is no mean feat....then again, they are the Texans, so maybe it is afterall.
It gets a big "whatever" in these parts.

Lots of enthusiasm in houston. They reall have some tough games coming up. The last part of their schedule is very managable so even if they don't make the playoffs they can go into the offseason with a good stretch of games.

The Texans had something old and something new for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Reliant Stadium.
Veterans David Carr and Andre Johnson scored fourth-quarter touchdowns.
Rookie Mario Williams had 1½ sacks the first of his career and tipped a two-point conversion pass that allowed the Texans to escape with a 17-15 victory — their first this season and only their third over the last two years.
"I'm so excited right now I wish I had enough energy to throw Gatorade on everyone in this dressing room," defensive tackle Travis Johnson said.
Owner Bob McNair presented coach Gary Kubiak with a game ball for his first NFL victory. Kubiak was so excited he said he wanted to give a game ball to everyone in the dressing room, including the media.
"I felt relief for the guys in that locker room," Kubiak said. "After the game, I told them that I'm the new guy here. I wasn't here last year, but we're going to get this thing turned around, and I'm proud to be part of it."
Not like a Capers team
In winning for only the third time in their last 21 games, the Texans ruined Dom Capers' homecoming with the kind of gutsy performance he didn't see last season when he was fired after they finished 2-14.
Capers, Miami's assistant to the head coach, oversees a defense that limited the Texans to a Kris Brown field goal through three quarters. In the fourth quarter, the Texans turned a 6-3 deficit into a 17-6 lead.
On consecutive possessions, Carr's perfectly executed bootleg resulted in a 1-yard touchdown run and he threw a 3-yard scoring pass to Johnson that provided them with a 17-6 advantage with 9:49 remaining.
At that point, the Texans had allowed Miami only 133 yards. But on the next two series, the Texans surrendered 156 yards, and the Dolphins kicked a field goal and scored a touchdown that cut the deficit to 17-15 with 1:43 remaining.
Five sacks of Culpepper
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who was sacked five times, threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Chris Chambers that pulled the Dolphins within two. But Williams tipped running back Ronnie Brown's option pass to foil a two-point conversion attempt, preserving a victory that gave the Texans a 1-3 record going into their off week.
"If we had lost that game, this probably would have been the worst week ever because of the way we lost it," said cornerback Dunta Robinson, who was beaten on Chambers' touchdown reception.
But the Texans didn't lose, and they have an extra week to celebrate before they begin the brutal stretch of the schedule that has them playing three of four and six of eight on the road, including three in a row at one point.
"We knew it was going to be tight," Carr said. "We wanted to keep it close and hope to score some points in the fourth quarter, and that's what we were able to do."
Carr was 22-of-29 for 230 yards and a touchdown. He lost a fumble and was intercepted, although neither could be blamed on him.
On the fumble, defensive end Jason Taylor blew by offensive tackle Brad Bedell, who was forced to play a few minutes when Ephraim Salaam suffered a groin injury, and stripped the ball from Carr, forcing a fumble.
On the interception, Carr threw the ball to Johnson for what should have been a catch, but cornerback Will Allen took it away.
"I thought I had it, but he made a great play to take the ball away," said Johnson, who finished with nine catches for 101 yards and the touchdown.
The Texans made every effort to get the ball to Johnson.
"We can't get the ball to Andre enough," Kubiak said.
The Texans will go as far as their passing game will take them because their running game is terrible. They rushed for 65 yards, an average of just 2.0 yards per carry.
"I thought our success on third down was a big key to this game," Kubiak said.
The Texans converted 56 percent on third down and limited the Dolphins to 25 percent — three of 12.
"We just got tired of being called out," Johnson said about a defense that had been heavily criticized for being the worst in the NFL.
While the offense hadn't been anything special in the first three losses, the defense had been horrendous. The Texans entered the game ranked last in defense, and they'd allowed more points than any team.
From Miami's first play, when safety Glenn Earl sacked Culpepper, the pass rush harassed him.
"We attacked a lot, and guys really stepped up," defensive end Anthony Weaver said. "We went out thinking we've got to get to this quarterback. We knew it was time to show what we could do."

I saw a blurb last week somewhere that Carr's completion % is around 72%. He has a plus TD to INT ratio.
Doubtful he thinks Kubiak is irrelevant.
Such a good guy. Can't help but wish him the best.

You live in Houston what do you think about the Texans?
Their passing offense looks good. Carr looks pretty confident especially comparing to him last year. I love Andre Johnson. Their running game has been poor but I think it's more their Oline.
Their Oline is horrible and they need more secondary help.
Is that your analysis?
What do you think?

Ummm.. I've been back in Colorado two years now.....
Too bad. I might've made an effort to get to Reliant since Kubiak took over.
