Look at the caption under the picture. I wonder if they did it on purpose.

:spit: I wouldn't do that to someone that big.

I really feel bad for Courtney. It's obvious he's a class act and would be out there if he could, but he just keeps having these injury problems.

It's just a terribly lazy article. His mom is Shirley. I'm amazed it hasn't been corrected.

I keep seeing "Airplane" in my mind..."Don't call me Shirley..."

I'll be surprised if the Broncos get much out of Brown this year or any year for that matter. Unfortunately, I think he's about done.

Brown was a big mistake imo. Warren and Meyers have worked out pretty well though. Also Ekuban is a decent player.

Is there any model for recovery from the microfracture surgery?...as I recall TD had that done as a last resort.

Ironically, contrary to popular perception, the ACL knee isn't the one that forced him to retire.

It's kind like Barbaro favoring his other hind leg. BTW, he's doing great supposedly. They were talking a couple weeks ago about removing the cast.

Microfracture to my knowledge is a rather dicey operation of the last resort when a knee goes bone on bone after cartilage is removed.

The grizzly operation involved drilling tiny holes in the top of the bone to release marrow, which hopefully will turn into scar tissue to kinda replace the lost cartilage. Losing cartilage is worse than an ACL IMO. Both Gold and Walker are standout players so far this year coming off ACL's.

He had microfracture on the left knee due to arthritis....ACL was right knee..his stress fracture was also in his lower left leg in 2000....when it gets bone to bone it's time to call it quits... naaa, just squirt a little oil on the knee and get them out there next week...meat on the hoof.

Tom Nalen had the procedure done a couple of years ago.
