Ran out of the end zone for a 1st down??
i loved seeing that. that is a part of his game that has been missing. i will never forget when i saw him break john elways record in the 1st season with the broncos and run a 72 yard run. i want to see more of this with the offense. it helps a lot. he has the ability to do it.

I liked how he kept his eyes downfield, saw Junior Seau, realized the mismatch, boned out toward the sideline and beat him to it, and then turned upfield for the first down + some.
I honestly thought he was gonna come up short, but showed some nice wheels, and it was on Seau!!!

I thought he didn't do this more last year initally because he hurt his knee. Then they had success in the passing game for most part rest of year we didn't need him to pick up yards on ground. I am glad he recognized it quick enough to make the play & pick up the 1st. Maybe Shanny will let him run more if it is there now.

I must have missed the 72 yard run. I know he had a 40 yard run in 2003 against the Raiders. That was a Broncos record for longest run by a QB.
Anyway, I wish he would run more. He has the opportunity to a lot. He could have run in for a score @ KC last year, but forced a pass and got it picked. Don't know if it is his knee, or Shanny, or what, but I do wish he would run a bit more to keep drives alive.

His first touchdown as a bronco was a left bootleg run into the endzone. I've been his fan since, rain or shine.

It was cool. 10 years ago, Seau would have absolutely destroyed him on that play. Thank god the Pats think they can plug in a 37 year old has been at LB!
NE will be a 500% team this season.

and they still might win their division
How pathetic is that?
That is why i think the NFL needs to change the playoff settings.
Let's say in theory.
Denver goes 13-3 gets the first seed and a 1st round bye
Indy goes 12-4 gets the 2nd and a 1st round bye
Cinci goes 12-4 gets the 3rd
New England goes 8-8 and get's the number 4 seed because they were a division winner
Jacksonville goes 11-5 and is a wildcard
San Diego goes 11-5 and is a wildcard.
And then there are teams like
Baltimore in theory they go 10-6
Pittsburgh goes 9-7
Who are out of contention for playoff contention because of New England
Why should New England a team that is inferior to a few teams that won't make the playoffs get in simply for winning their division?

yah he had that 40 yd touchdown run again the raiders, longer than bubby's brister when he ran another 40 yarder, don't think jake ever ran a 72-73 yard touchdown run though
