Can Raider fans be on that list. When I read Mocks thread, I was thinking OJ and Rae Carruth. Those are two right there. Who was the guy a few years back that was driving, got in an accident, killed his buddy then shot himself over it. He gave himself justice. Leonard Little shouldnt even be on the field let alone in freedom. Daryl (forgot his last name) of the Rams got nailed and then tried to hire a hitman to kill the judge. He was still in the NFL before his original problems started. At least OJ waited untilr etirement to start killing.

Chewbacca. How did he not make it?

Another Packer, Eugene Robinson should be on there for what he did the day he got the NFL sportsman of the year award, the day before the Super Bowl, which fkd over his teams psyche on some level, not to mention ruled his marriage and life. Of course we were gonna crush the Falcons regardless, but still.

Maybe we should stick to just football criminals, because you could make an entire list of boxers pretty easily:

Tyson - rape, assault, earbiting, etc.

Riddick Bowe - kidnapping

Don King - Manslaughter

Bernard Hopkins - Strong-Arm Robbery

Sonny Liston - 6 counts of mugging

Tony Ayala Jr. - Rape, served 15 years, then went back again

Henry Tillman - Identity Theft, sentenced to 37 months.

Clifford Etienne - Robbery, attempted murder of two cops

Dwight Muhammad Qawi -Armed Robbery

George Forman - Making those grills so hard to clean. Bad Midas commercials.

The names you're thinking of are Dany Heatley and Mike Danton. For the record, Heatley was neither drunk or even impaired during the accident that killed his teammate, Dan Snyder.

On September 29, 2003, Heatley was seriously injured after he lost control of the Ferrari 360 Modena he was driving and struck a wall, splitting the car in half and ejecting him and his passenger. Heatley suffered a broken jaw, a minor concussion, a bruised lung, bruised kidney, and tears of three ligaments in his right knee; his passenger, teammate Dan Snyder, was critically injured with a skull fracture, fell into a coma, and died six days later on October 5. Heatley was charged with vehicular homicide as a result of the crash. He pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular homicide, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain a lane, and speeding. He was sentenced to three years probation. Heatley returned to play later in the 2003-04 NHL season, but in 31 games, he scored only 25 points

I stand corrected. I was wrong.

Going back a ways, there's Bob Hayes. He did 10 months for selling cocaine to undercover cops. Probably why he's not in the Hall of Fame.

Years later when asked about what kind of message that sent to kids he said, ''It's not fair to make role models of us. I understand a kid wanting to be just like so-and-so, but that's not our responsibility. It's enough pressure trying to perform out on the field. But once that's done with, we should be allowed to go about our own business and be ourselves. God, imagine where I'd be now if all this hadn't happened. I'd still be Bob Hayes, gold medal winner and football star.''

I don't think anybody in their right minds know whether he did or didn't....A couple people died and nobody got convicted so somebody did some killing and was good enough to keep people in their "right minds" from knowing who actually did it.

Jason in LA
09-20-2006, 10:35 AM
Everybody knows who did it. It was the two guys who went to trial over it. There were no witnesses that said Ray did it, but the witnesses said that it was those two guys.

I didn't follow the trial closely, so I don't know the exact reasons why they got off. But I wouldn't be surprised if they got off because the DA made the entire case into a circus by charging Lewis with the crime. I'd say he lost all credibility when he did that, and hurt his chances of convicting the other two guys. The DA tried to make this another OJ case so he could make a name for himself. The guy was trying to get famous off somebody else's name. In the process he allowed two killers to walk free.

Ray didn't kill anybody.

I'd say OJ and Lewis' cases are totally different. OJ is a killer who got off. There isn't any evidence that Ray killed anybody.

I'm not in the mood to see Bronco fans taking up for the guy right now, especially when there's no way anyone could possibly know any of the facts about what happened that night. Even if Ray didn't gut those guys like hogs, he supplied the getaway car, he knows what happened to the knifes and bloody clothes and he lied to the cops. Mark Chmura
In 1998, Chmura refused to meet with United States President Bill Clinton at the White House following the Packers Super Bowl XXXI win. Chmura, a popular fixture at Republican fund-raisers, said at the time that he had lost respect for President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky scandal and could not bear to shake his hand.

....following allegations of having sexual relations on April 8, 2000 at a Waukesha Catholic Memorial High School prom party with the then 17-year-old babysitter of his children. Ultimately, Chmura was tried and found not guilty of all charges [3]. Two days after being acquitted of child enticement and third-degree sexual assault, Mark Chmura acknowledged that his behavior at a post-prom party "wasn't something a married man should do."

slap, the funny thing is that you keep bringing up these gay references, even though I've given no real indication of being gay. You're pretty much just making stuff up because your argument is so weak.

But I have proof that you are a homosexual

In the Barry Bonds thread, when you stated the choices between being Bonds or a homosexual, you said:

I would rather be a fag than a phony.

And you also used the word "scamp", which TheDave found it strange for a fully grown self proclaimed heterosexual male to use.

You are gay

After reading that reponse, I claim victory in this battle. slap resorting to assumptions about my person life shows that that dude done flipped his lid ;D . I guess I hit a touchy subject with the guy. OK slap, I won't talk about your gayness anymore (who am I kidding, I'll always talk about his gayness ;D ).

It's funny that he says something about my personal life, when I haven't given any details about it. And the guy has the nerve to mention my son over some message board smack. I could see him doing it if I talked trash about his dog. But I see no need to go that low, like he did. I'll just be happy that I got under his skin so much that he had to go as low as he did.

Sorry slap, but making up stuff about me won't get under my skin.

Because I showed proof that you are a homosexual.

So leave my son out of this, because I don't want to have to start making dog jokes.

I said I feel sorry for your son because his father's not a man. You know I'm only telling the truth. Keep throwing your chest out anyway. Makes it even funnier.

Reading one of Jason in Ray Lewis' Ass posts is like watching a dog try to lick peanut butter off the roof of his mouth.

I find it funny that slap didn't get banned for the post that he made a few posts ago. Alec said that samething about somebody else and got 30 days. I guess that means it's open season to use any bad words that I want...right?

I'm not going to do that, because I know I'll get banned. But I guess I can go ahead and talk about slaps damn dead dog. What exactly were you doing with that dog to be so close to it? Kind of strange if you ask me. Maybe gay isn't the correct term for you.

Its funny that you know your place in the pecking order around here. Why don't you stand in the gutter when I walk by from now on?

Wow, bringing back an old one. I must have really got under your skin. Being sensitive is one sign of being a HOMOSEXUAL.

Keep them coming, because I'm getting a good laugh out of this.
