I'm not talking offense or defense in general, but what positions do you think we could upgrade this coming off-season either in FA or the NFL Draft?

Defensive Line for me, I'd say QB -- but we already got Cutler.

I think the players need hotter cheerleaders, Kyla Cole sounds like a good hire. ;)

The DEs just aren't getting the job done on a consistent basis. We NEED to find the next Trevor Pryce.

We have him. He's named Elvis.

Gaines Adams next Trevor Pryce from da Clemsun!

Unfortunately he hasn't even entered the building. He's taking the Pryce approach to his first year though, that's for sure. Active/Inactive, -- thus far inactive!

She isn't a very good cheerleader. She can't keep her hands off the other cheerleaders. There would be a full blown lesbian, cheerleader orgy going on the sideline of every Bronco home game.

That would suck.

I guess the coaches don't agree.

Too early to tell, but DL is definitely a priority. Can't continue with a batch of spare parts. If the new WRs work out, Broncs can skip that position early in next year's draft. Same with RB - need to see how the Bells hold up. S is another priority, but should be able to pick up a decent one in FA much cheaper than a decent DL.

QB is killing us right now. A difference maker on the OL wouldn't hurt. We could use a stud HB if the Bells or Cobbs don't step up and take a strangle hold on the job.

On the DLine we are lacking weapons. We just don't have much but spare parts. Sad but true. Warren can be a difference maker but he can't do it alone.

We need some more playmaking ability at safety.

QB, RB, WR, TE, RT, D-line, OLB (not Gold) have all underperformed.

If Rod misses next week WR is going to be interesting.

Denver will probably draft a wide receiver sometime next year. There's too much talent there to pass up the ability to get one of the top receivers, if they are in position, I'd certainly consider it.

We NEED to find the next Trevor Pryce.

Don't worry if Plummer continues to play like he is now, and they refuse to put the kid back there, we will. Somewhere around the 6-8th pick in the draft im guessing.

Dwayne Jarrett would look great in Orange

Yeah, but you and I both know that he's probably a top 10 pick.

He and Calvin Johnson. A guy like Ginn, Jr. or Sindey Rice could fall to where we'd be. Hey, maybe we could get Jeff S. out of Notre Dame because he's white and he'd be the next Eddy Mac for us!? ;)

Rice is only a soph. Is he thrid year eligible?

I like Steve smith, Dallas Baker and the two guys from Tex Tech, but not in the first round

The 12th man. Quiet for the opposing offense, boo'ing the home team - no home field advantage.

Home games are more stressful for this team than road games, it was the same early last year too.

On paper, D-line and safety.
For the past two games, O-line and--hate to say it, but--QB.

He is third year elligible.

I like Smith too and Hicks from Texas Tech, probably late-second rounders, somewhere in the third.

Rice seems a tad too inconsistent for my taste. If I had my choice I'd prefer to add more of a possession type receiver. I'd also like to sign a true no. 3 type in FA, like Kelley Washington out of Cinci.

Paul Williams is also someone who we should keep an eye on. I saw him last Saturday when Fresno State rolled into town...he's got good size and he looked pretty dangerous.

I'd much rather go DL first though, and then WR second.

remember we do have brandon marshall who could has the skill set to be a great possession receiver opposite walker but...

dwayne jarrett could fall into the teens and who knows how we shuffle around. i would be ok with us taking a WR next year just because with so many of them, its like every team will be getting a good one. jarrett is a great possession guy IMO, how many third down catches does he have? im very impressed by him and i have an antiU$c bias. i dont like the sidney rice pick(he is eligible to whoever asked), seems like another ashley lelie, calvin johnson is a top 3 pick, samardzjia isnt even the best wr on the team, its rhema mcknight who was injured last year, he would be a good pick. jason hill from wash st, courtney taylor from auburn, or dwayne bowe from LSu would all be good possession receivers opposite javon. as a semi sleeper, chansi stuckey from clemson, smaller guy could be good in the slot.

one underclassmen that wont get as much hype as the others is limas sweed who has a similar build to calvin johnson but hasnt had the best passers thus far in his career.

paul williams is a good possession guy who also has speed. kind of a brandon marshall clone IMO. hed have to drop for us to draft him IMO. id like to see us get a slot guy like stuckey or steve breaston if we do go receiver. i want us to go DL with the first and likely second pick. one DE and one DT with a second DE a little later. mason crosby would be a nice luxury, maybe with the extra washington pick?

What do you guys think about Andre Caldwell out of Florida? He looked like an extremely explosive player last year before going down with an injury. He's got solid numbers thus far in '06 as well.

I think he ran like two or three reverses in one game last year...and one he reversed field again and almost scored!

Weakest right now...D-line . Worst playing right now --QB

Draft needs :

1. D- Line, Both ends and tackle.
2. Safety
3. WR. Right now we seem to have Depth. But this is probably Rods last year...and he may miss a few games NOW.
4. O-line. BIG. We should start to think about going to Turboed Road graders instead of pickup trucks with snow plow blades on them. We will need to protect a drop back passer after Cutler settles in.
5. FG kicker. Elam has been fantastic..but I get nervous if the kick is over 40 yards anymore.
6. Backup QB....someone to play behind Jay, cause Jake won't be the backup next year
