I suspect Qunn will turn out to be a pretty good NFL QB, but he just shot any chance he had for the Heisman in the foot today with 3 INTs, only 50% passing on 48 passes for just 232 yards and an untouched fumble returned for a Michigan TD.

On the other hand, Henne for Michigan looked damn good and is built to handle the NFL as well. Michigan's WR Mario Mannington was very hot as well with 4 catches for 3 TDs and 137 yrd.

I'm very glad we locked up our QB for the future this year!

Oklahoma got hosed. How the hell did the on field officials and the guys in the replay booth not see that an Oregon player touched that onside kick before it had travelled 10 yards? Just an atrocious call.

Still early in the season and most Heisman winning QBs have a bad game along the way.

I don't think he will win it, ND plays too hard a schedule and their D is still weak. He was doing fine ok in the game today until his TE tipped a ball up for a pick 6, the STs fumbled on a KR, and the D allowed a big homerun pass. At that point it was all pressing to catch up.

I think he'll be a hell of an NFL QB, he shakes off hits, has great pocket presence, and a rocket arm. He's a lot like Cutler was at Vandy, just with superior talent on his team and a lot more hype. Even still he could easily only be the 4th best NFL prospect on the team, as Samardzja has tons of NFL potential, Darius Walker will start a lot of games on Sunday, and Tom Zbikowski is hands down the best safety in the nation if you ask me (suck it Landry!)

First off, they were Pac Ten refs. Second, they knew they were going to need Secret Service type protection to get out of Eugene alive if they overturned it.

I was pulling for the Ducks, but the call leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I had no rooting interest in the game either way, it's just garbage to see a team lose because of such an obvious bad call. It wasn't even a situation where I could look at it and say, "Well, that could have gone either way." It wasn't even close.

That was just an optical illusion, your mind is playing tricks on you. Ha!

I found the entire episode highly amusing since I hate Sooners and kinda like ducks. We have a huge refuge for the stupid things. So much for instant replay if they couldn't see that it was touched early.

I am putting it into the tuck drawer.

Even tho his feet might of been inside of ten yards, his hands broke the plane of the 10 yard rule. The Universe has righted itself and now the Galaxy can start spinning counter clockwise again.

It might of been the most rediculous call I have ever seen with replay.

The refs/reviewer totally SCREWED Oklahoma over. I can not believe that. How can you say there is conclusive evidence that the ball was touched by Oklahoma first on the onside kick? HOW!?!?!??! And on the pass interference, there wasn't conclusive evidence the ball was tipped? Are these guys blind? Seriously, anybody could tell the ball was tipped.
SOOOOOoooo mad...

I imagine that Stoops will likely stop short of a Brian Billick-esque "Just scrap the whole thing because it doesn't work" tantrum, though he'd have a case if he did.

Peterson looked great again. His made his case for the heisman. The more I watch this young man run the football, the more impressed I am with him.

I agree. It was almost as bad of a call as the Polamalu overturn in the playoffs last year.

After the bad call, I started to root for the Sooners because I hate to see teams get hosed like that.

I missed the on sides and had swiched it off after Oklahome was up 13 with jsut a couple to go , opnly to turn back and to watch the Ducks coach call for eth squib kick on the last kickoff that nearly doomed them.

So, the on-sides kick Oregon kicked and recovered was touched early before it went 10 yards?

That RB for Oregon looks pretty good in any event.

My biggest amusement is how Lou Holtz is constantly made an idiot on the field.

He pulled a Joe Namath prediction out of his ass last week for SC.

I'm sure he picked ND today.

this isn't an expert, it's a financial wrecking machine.

Yes. The kick travelled about 8 1/2 yards and was batted forward by an Oregon player. It was blatantly obvious, but somehow the replay officials ruled that there was "conclusive visual evidence that an Oklahoma player touched the ball first." How they arrived at that conclusion is a mystery.

Check out the replay, you'll see it.

You guys are missing the big picture here. Heismans, Bad Refs, who cares?

The question is, did any starting punters get stabbed by any backup punters today?

Having a bad hair day Bob?

First of all, I clearly said he will likely be a good NFL QB, but his chances of winning the Heisman took a big hit today without question.

Perhaps not absolutely irrevocably fatal, but coming up that short against top competition wont help him one little bit. ND hasnt looked all that great this year already, and now this just adds fuel to the fire that the team as a whole likely won't be challenging for the BCS title.

Bob you need to save all your angst and feigned outrage for tommorow's steamroller at Invesco. Here take one of these!

I guess Plummer isn't going to the Pro Bowl either. Who knows what happens from here on out, they may both tear it up.

Oh shiat!!! USC RB just got his leg twisted 90 degrees and it stuck there !!

His foot was 90 degrees outside his knee with his foot pointing not straight ahead like normal but directly to the right ...and his WHOLE lower leg was dislocated !! Man that hurt like hell just to look at it ... reminded me of the Lawrence Taylor/Theismann collision.

Yeah...I'm in the same boat. I pretty much always root for the Ducks, but that onside kick call was atrocious. A close second was that pass interference call on the ensuing drive.

Justice would have been served if OK would have won that game, and it looked for a minute like they would...but no.

Oh well...sh!tty calls are part of football.
