Last night i'm drinking with some buddies and we're talking about getting tattoos. I don't have any because i've never found something i'd want to perminently put on my body.
Anyways, a buddy of mine who is a big Raider fan says that he'll pay me $900 and cover the cost of the tattoo if I get a Raiders tat. I'm considering it, only because I can go back and put something below it saying Raiders suck or whatever else I can think of.
So my question to all of you is should I do it, and if I do what could I add to make it a Raiders suck tat?

My opinion only but I'd never intentionally deface my body permanently.

I think tatoos are lame as hell for the most part.
Unless it is something super meaningful, (I.E., My roomate's sister died in a car crash at 18, and he had her name on his back) putting something on your body permanently is just retarded IMO.

Let me get this straight...your considering putting a Raider tatoo on your body because it would be free? He's trying to make you a fool you fool. Go do it if your that stupid. You need opinions? Good Lord. I wouldn't accept a free Bronco tat. Maybe a little one on the ankle, that's it.
Make sure to put it on your forearm so everyone you interview for a job can see it. It's a sure fire road to success.

rep for you, good sir!
tattoos might be THE most meaningless type of cliche out there. the idea of permanantly branding yourself because its "cool" (which is the reasoning for 99% of them) is so toolish.
granted, there are some good ones out there: Tommy Lee had his 2 kids write their first names down on pieces of paper. he took those writings IN and had them tatooed onto his hands, which is creative and meaningful at the same time.
but uhh.. to get away from my rant and answer the question:
NO!

You'd do that just for $900? $900 can't get you too far.
I wouldn't do it for only $900 even if my rent, car note, and every other bill was late, and my lights were already cut off.
Everybody has their price. All of us would get a Raiders tat for the right price. I'd say that price for me to even consider it would be in the six figures, not the three figures.

Honestly...I can't believe you're even considering this. I have a tat, but I think the last two tats I would ever get would be a Raider's logo and/or one that says something "sucks." Classless in my opinion.

I completely agree. You'll probably hate it later anyway - especially when it starts smearing/fading and your fifty and thinking "boy that's really ugly and stupid."

HELL NO
I have 2 tats, and I'm gonna get another one. But a Raider one, even to make fun of them, no way. Hating the Raiders is like the last thing on my mind after "Is Priest Holmes obligated to touch children"

If you have to ask that question, then you don't want a tattoo. I have 3, one of which one day I'll have to have surgically removed. It was funny 20 years ago, but I wished I hadn't done it about two weeks later.
Do you really think that you want a Raider on you? Or the word "Sucks" for the rest of your life. Think!!! One day, you might even become religious and have that thing stuck on you.

Do you deep down like the Raiders? Or like the "coolness" factor of a Raiders tat?
Anyway, if you decide to get a tat, get more than one. I think if you're going to do it get multiple tats.

A Bronco fan thinking of putting a Raider tat on his body??
Are you crazy?
Do that, and your friend will have a story to tell for the rest of his life.
You, on the other hand, won't tell a soul without feeling like a fool.
Any questions? :wiggle:

So, what is the one you need to have removed?

My opinion is that tatoos are ugly. Think how it will look when you are older and your skins starts sagging and stuff.
On the other hand you could take his $900 and get one of those tatoos that wears off in a couple of weeks. Henna, I think.

I'm so embarrassed that I even have it, I'm not about to tell what it is. If it were something that I simply didn't like, that'd be a different story.

The more I have thought about this, the more I think the answer is clear. You and your friend should have each other's initials tattooed on your ankles.

The only thing dumber than getting inked with a Raiders logo for $900 is calling for Jay Cutler to start.

my girl did that, and had no problems :P
@topic: I like tatoos. I don't have one myself because I didn't find the PERFECT motive yet. But... in your case.. you would be NUTS to do it. I would consider that maybe if a guy would give me 50000 and than remove it afterwards, or make it so small that I can totally integrate it in my perfect tatoo so that it wouldn't be a Raiders logo anymore :D

There is no way on God's green earth that I would ever allow anything associated with the Raiders to be permanently or temporarily as a matter of fact put on my body. When thinking about all of the unlimited tattoos you could possible choose, why oh why would you even consider putting something so degrading to a Bronco fan on your body... Say it ain't so... don't do it because you're definitely going to regret it whether you put "sucks" on it or not! Trust my advice, I'm saving you alot of future misery... just think, waking up every morning looking at yourself and seeing a Raider, every single day for the rest of your life... ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
