You know i often pondered why they couldn't make a cheap voting machine that can do it electronically (for speed, real time counting) - but then print two reciepts for auditing. One for you, one for the polling place and of course the Evote -
Then i realized - if it was 'hack' proof - no gov't would purchase it.
