So after 1 week of football, many people are talking about the "Brady Quinn Sweepstakes" going on right now between the Raiders and Packers. Now I don't follow the college game much, so I don't even know if Brady Quinn is a no-brainer #1 pick. But let's assume he is.

If you're the Packers, what do you do? At some point, Aaron Rogers needs to be given a try out in a real game. If they're something like 2-6 at the midpoint of the season, could we possibly see a benching of Brett Favre? I know the issue has been beaten to death, but if Brady Quinn is the real deal, what do they do with Rogers? I mean, seriously, Green Bay is screwing themselves. I respect the loyalty, but there has to be a limit here.

If you're the Raiders, the same question must be asked. Are you that high on Andrew Walter? And if so, at what point do you have to bench Brooks to give him a shot?

Thoughts? Again, I'll say that I don't even know if Quinn is that good. But if he is as good as people say he is, it's going to be decision time as the season rolls on for these two teams if they're going to be in a position to potentially draft a franchise QB.

The Raiders will draft Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech.

So help them, they're going to get back to the vertical passing game even if it kills Aaron Brooks.

In a twist that really doesn't shock anyone, Matt Millen trades up to draft Calvin Johnson!

Yeah God knows they dont need a quarterback. They'll just sign TrINT after the Chefs release him. Maybe they shoot for the future of the club and take a guard this time.

In seriousness, the Fade may go with Quinn if they're picking first. I don't know how much they like Andrew Walter, but it'd be tough to pass on Quinn if they believe all the scouting reports on him.

Green Bay is much more likely to actually go for Calvin Johnson, as they've currently got Aaron Rogers waiting in the wings and their WR position is pretty barren at the moment.

Quinn is ok, probably about the 5th best QB of the expected entrants. I don't expect either of those squads to go QB anyway....perhaps the Raiders I suppose, but they would still be better served making sure Walter isn't the guy first before blowing a high pick on a QB.

Might as well. They passed on Leinart and Cutler because they see something in Andrew Walter. I guess they should give him a chance to prove himself.

They could always go for Adrian Peterson or a pass rusher like Gaines Adams or Quentin Moses if they choose not to go QB.
