I don't think I've ever heard better local play-by-play and color announcers than the Phoenix team last night ... did anybody notice these guys? The first half of the NFL Network telecast?
Best "valuable info"/"per word spoken" ratio I've ever heard. Every single tackler was tagged with 1 - his college, 2- years in pros, and 3- former NFL teams. Even every Bronco. In fact, these two guys had better BRONCOS info than Gary Miller and Reggie Rivers, and they're not bad.
Several things I found out about the BRONCOS from the PHOENIX TV guys in that first half alone include that Elvis set an all-time NCAA record with 10 forced fumbles (I know I'll get argument here, but if you're gonna aruge, gimme an OM link) ... and that Chad Mustard practiced some and is available at OT. Maybe you guys knew that Cutler's pass to beat Tennessee last year was the last pass he threw, but I hadn't heard it put that way.
There was more I can't remember now, but I was amazed at those guys.
Don Criqui and many others should do HALF that much preparation.
