No one has started one of these? Did I miss it?

I guess I'll get this one going and drop some talking points.
Things to consider:
The Running back battle. Still up the air (or he wants the Rams to think so anyway) I happen to think that Mike Bell begged Shanahan to let him play this game. It will be fun to watch how all our backs do with the second team O-line going against a starting defense.
Cutler VS. Leinert - A lot of people will be comparing these two. Given what they have to face, I have to think that Leinert will do better because he'll face weaker players, but who knows?
Super Kuper - Watch this man beast plow the road for our boys! :afro:
Go broncos!

Watching the pre-game ( god I love living in Denver!) and listening to Sundquist. Im thinking this is BVPs last game as a Bronco. Parsons will get stashed on the Practice squad.

Key words of the night is...
No injuries!
I'd like to see some better production from our run game but I'm not so sure we will see a heavy duty battle between backs tonight. Obviously, we can expect a vanilla approach by Shanny, but I still wonder if a kid or two can still make a last ditch effort to vye for a spot. Go Broncos!

I agree. In fact I don't care if we look like crap all night if we get out with no injuries...ok that's not true. But no injuries! :)

Hmm. I didn't know our second string offense was going against their number one. Now I really want to see what cobbs can do. Yeah, I want to see mike bell, but I kind of want to see cobbs more.
Then of couse I hope cutler rips it up.
Last, I hope bvp does a great job. I too, think this is his last game taking snaps in a game as a bronco.

I hope we at least get to see Cobbs and the Bells face the same D at some point. I'd like to establish the validity of Cobbs' stats so far in preseason. I might die if I have to go through the season listening to Mike Bell/Cobbs arguements always banking off starting vs backup defenses.
And it must be nice living in Denver and watching the pregame, I'm watching the NFL Network and while this bouncing around games thing is pretty nifty... If Eisen brings up TO one more time, I'm gonna do my damnedest to go into my TV and stick TO up Eisen's @ss...

maybe in 2007 but not this year. Outside of some hurry up offense last week, the 1st team offense has been running a lot of base stuff. But the backups have been given more aggressive plays to run to see what they can do, especially Cutler.
Not even an "apples to apples" comparison. Even Rod Smith dismisses such talk.

That's possible, but I think it's more likely they keep an extra TE and drop a WR. I could be wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me to see 5 WRs.

He caught that one pass and was thrown to in the end zone the play before Devoe redeemed himself. Other than he has been pretty quiet tonight.

He was out there on that last drive. Cutler threw his way twice, one of which was a pass that wasn't catchable.
He didn't start the game. Kircus & Devoe were the starters.

Watts isn't gonna be cut. They won't cut Watts to keep David Terrell or Brian Clark.
Smith, Walker, Marshall, Kircus, Watts & likely one other will make the team.

I agree. Has Watts shown anything more than Kircus or Devoe this preseason. Remember it hasn't been too long he exited from the doghouse. Right now I would play Kircus No. 3 and wait to see what Marshall does in practice. Watts maybe No. 5 or No. 6 looking in from the outside.

Terrell has not done a thing in Denver but take a year to learn the system and then do NOTHING in preseason with said knowledge. I was hoping he would do something to make the squad, But I have seen zero to make me think he will be around come next week.

Come on, the Cards sent out first stringers, Warner, Bouldin, Fitzgerald, etc. and we were covering with Foxworth, Paymah, Brandon, etc.. You can't expect our 2nd string to stand up to the starters from a top passing offense, which AZ really is.
Cutler kicked ass most of the game, Kircus is doing well. Dumervil and Chuckwurah have each put up sacks, and now we get to see how Cobbs runs in the second half. And hey, now we know that we won't be wasting a roster spot on Van Pelt.
