View Full Version : AZ Stadium Tailgate not looking very good!

My Uncle is down at the stadium as of 2:50 pm pst to check it out. Here are some things he brought up.

1. You can only park @ the Stadium if you have a parking pass which can only be bought by season ticket holders. Every one else has to park @ least 1 mile away and shuttle to the stadium.

2. No tailgating except on a pice of grass called the "Great Lawn" Which is about as big as the Bronco Barn.

3. If you tail gate on the Lawn (you would either have to carry everything down or have a season parking pass) You can only have one 10x10 section per group. You can not rope it off. No charcoal grills...gas only

Tailgating at Invesco was a blast. It's such a tailgate-friendly place. I've only been to 5 NFL stadiums, but Invesco smoked them all in that regard.

See my post in the Tailgate forum. We do have some stuff arranged for us message board folks.

As for AZ, It seems it's early on as to what can or can't be done. I read you can tailgate in your parking spots, but thats via the AZCentral newspaper article.

Anyways i'll have pictures and news after the game.

Yeah - we're trying to figure out what to do for the Dec 17th game as many Omaners will be there. You can tailgate in the lots despite what they say (at least that's what I've heard) but it's very limited and they definitely want to encourage "tailgating" on the Great Lawn.

The only lot that allows Oversized Vehicles or RV's that is "near" the stadium is lot F and you can only get pass from a season ticket holder as they are not sold otherwise. The other lot, Lot H, is hell and gone from the stadium. Apparently it is PACKED and filled with tailgaters. Big surprise if it's the only place you can get away with it.

Anyway - at this point we're planning on waiting until after the first two home regular season games and then checking out the scene again and seeing what the evolving scoop is....

Hi all I dont know if this will help but I live in Az (but Im a Broncofan) as for tailgating in the parking lot, you can as long as your stuff is kept directly behind your car, nothing can by offsides, or taking up more than one parking space,as for the parking passes Ive seen alot of them up for bid on ebay

Guess they figure who wants to tailgate in 115 degrees. Just lay the meat out in the sun. It'll get done. Bidwell wants you to eat in his stadium at his prices. That's the bottom line.

He dude. We will hook it up for sure in December. I was looking for u at the game. Doesn't matter. In December we'll be there all day. It will be tight. I made it there kinda late so I din't get there before tha game. We'll meet up with orange force one and have a blast man. Fo Sho! I'll be there all day next game. Till then, GO BRONCOS!

Remember, this discussion should continue in the Tailgate forum. It is amazing how bad this scene is so far. Lucky for us, this game will be without the heat and The Cards will have practice at this tailgatting thing.
