That's what the majority of Donks fans (aside from myself) don't seem to understand. The Donks have been the ONLY franchise in the AFC West that has been consistently worth a damn since '77.

I'm going against the grain here, and am going to give Fade fan credit. Seeing as how Plummer is no longer sporting the mountain man look...the smack is sorely outdated...but only slightly when you compare the smack to the Raiduh organization's approach to the game of football...a la..."The greatness of the raiduhs lies in the 70's...whoops...I've got anuthuh livah spat."

Cripes...The faders were champs yesterday compared to the constantly "almost was, but never were" franchise that embodies the kansas city chiefs. Who was the president the last time the chiefs were in/won the superbowl? That's right...it was Nixon...F Nixon, and F the chiefs.

San Diego has had their moments...although they're few and far between. They'll continue to tease what is a surprisingly loyal, and solid fan base as long as Spanos the infinitely teddible owns the franchise.

I'm not speaking to all of you Donk fan come lately's on the 'mane. I'm talking to all of you who have suffered watching the Donks lose superbowl after superbowl, and taking pure joy in witnessing the Great John Elway retire as champion. Since then the Donks' record/playoff appearances dwarfs any other team in the division. So who gives a clayton's ass what chief/fade/bolt fan says. They all can only wish that year in and year out...that their team is as good as ours.

I understand the history behind it being a pet name for our team when we sucked in the seventies and all...Fact is we don't suck anymore, it's not the seventies and the only people I ever hear refer to us that way are our rivals trying to disparage us and Pendejo. He had a great rookie year with us and since has been suspended for weed, played average at fullback, one good preseason game after a couple embarassing performances, and been on IR.
