It's ESPN's policy to jump on anything that generates news whether the public cares about it or not. I personally don't care to hear news on anything regarding TO, but we are going to continue to hear about it because TO is an attention whore.

I'll be honest here, I am interested to here the occasional update. I find it fascinating that a guy with that talent still is allowing himself to spiral downwards into obscurity. If he was a mature & sensible and actually acted like a MAN, he could have been a SB winner. Now he should be happy someone pays him...

Thank goodness the Broncos have started doing their homework.

Then when the Broncos visited with T.O. last February, two members of Denver's organization said they didn't get any sense that T.O. had been humbled, that he would be more appreciative if he got another chance.

As long as he is playing for the cowgals and as long as it's going really bad. Count me in! I'm there!!!
There is nothing better than watching Parcells meltdown in front of the press.
I'm sick of seeing him more then anything. You see that smug look on his face and that smile that just screams "I pulled one over on another team". He knows exactly what he's doing and he loves the attention. I'm so glad he's not here and I can't wait to see the eventual blowup in Dallas. Owens is an immense arse

I'm so ****ing tired of all the T.O. does.... I mean c'mon ESPN who gives a **** if TO said this and that, if he's always late. Damn it.... I'm just fed up all ready with all of this. I want to hear other news around the league.... Fine I understand cover the guy, but don't over do it like this!!! DAMN IT!!
I want him out of the leagueeee..... in the other hand I can't wait for Parcell to blow up in front of the cameras.

I don't see how any NFL fan could say they're not interested in this. Even if just to make popcorn and watch the Cowboys blow up, your ears have to at least perk up when TO news is on. Because you know something is going to happen.
It's the classic example of a car wreck on the road, everybody has to rubberneck and slow down at least a little bit.

I just don't even get that kind of enjoyment over this monotony. It's basically the press trying to drum up controversey because they know that TO is capable of delivering it... Meanwhile, there are stories all over the NFL that aren't getting covered, including right there in Dallas.
But it's typical of how news has gotten lately, and it's why communities like this are thriving, so I'm ok with it. People tune into ESPN now to see the soap opera stories and get the recent game highlights. People go online to get the news.

If I hear another TO story I'll toss my cookies. That's all they talk about down here...TO this and TO that...what did TO do today?...what does Parcells think about TO?...what do the fans think?...what time does he go potty?...Who gives a crap? It's like they have no other players on this team.
It was pretty funny tonight though...somebody ratted him out for missing team meetings and falling asleep in the locker room. Jones almost blew a gasket and threatened to fire the locker room mole...BAAAHAAA! I hate the Crackboys...anything that causes them consternation is amusing.

CO, you're telling me that, for instance, if NFL Live started talking TO, you'd turn it off? If so, you are a better person than me.
I mean, I hear he gets fined for $9,500, and I wanna know if he went to New Jersey and flipped out. I just... I'm waiting for the circus to start. Honestly, they talk so damn much about him that I'm basically to the point that I tune it out until the topic turns to something relevant. I'm bored with the same old, "Well yeah, he's a dick, he divides locker rooms, he throws his QB's under the bus, but all of that shouldn't matter because of what he can do on the field!" that we hear from ESPN and the like. Those jackasses give him exactly what he wants by talking non-stop about him.
We all know how this movie is gonna end, so I feel no need to watch it unfold.

Drew is just a weasel, that's pretty much it. He and the Postons use their athletes like a pontoon bridge that they can step on to get from one place to another. They should not be allowed to represent athletes -- especially ones that are to stupid or naive to know that these guys will rips their throats out as soon as look at them, then replace them with next year's rookie crop.

The funniest thing so far is Jerry Jones the imbicile threatening to fire whoever leaked T.O.'s fine..."NO MATTER WHO IT IS"
Everyone knows Parcells leaked it, so now T.O. has driven a wedge between Parcells and the owner. Even funnier is the language in "That Player's" contract seems to limit the 'boys' ability to even fine T.O.
Don't you find it odd that Rod Smith has never even missed a single offseason workout yet alone a meeting in 12 years?, but T.O. insists everyone oversleeps from time to time?
Rod will take his glass of icewater and pour it over a snoozing slacker at a meeting and everyone would simply laugh. "Wake the fvck up newbie"...
Rod can read the whole playbook backwards from memory, both offense, defense and special teams.
Jones stuffed T.O. down Parcell's throat and wonders why he's pissed off. If he wants to fire whoever leaked the fine he should of done it yesterday. Everyone with half a brain knows Parcells leaked it except the dimwitted Jones.

It is one thing to report it & another to program your TV & Radio networks around it then have your talent (Trey Wingo) call in to the Dick Patrica show to defend their coverage on NFL Live that Cedric Benson got a mention for the same infraction. Terrell Owens
Q: What’s up with Terrell Owens? When he signed with the Cowboys didn’t he say he was going to be on his best behavior?
A: This is T.O.’s best behavior.
Q: The Cowboys fined Owens $9,500 for various violations, including missing a team meeting. Did that get his attention?
A: What? Oh, excuse me, my mind drifted away while I was doing crunches here on my driveway.
The fine, right. Yeah, the Cowboys fined Owens $9,500. With bonus and salary, they’re paying Owens $10 million this year. So if the Cowboys continue to fine T.O. the same amount, if he misses 1,053 more meetings, the Cowboys will break even. I’m not sure how many more meetings the Cowboys plan to hold.
Q: Is Owens aware that he might be upsetting his coach?
A: Are you aware that Owens probably looks at Bill Parcells as T.O.’s Mt. Everest? If he can conquer Tuna, it will be Owens’ crowning achievement.
Q: Do you see a big season ahead for Owens?
A: I see another autobiography. This one titled, “The Saga of the Lone Ranger and the Dull-ass Cowboys.”
Q: Is T.O. being a wimp? After all, his injury is only a hamstring pull.
A: You think it’s a minor injury, but it has the potential to become history’s first fatal hammie.
Q: Do you think Owens is trying to provoke Parcells?
A: Owens is trying to get along with his new coach. Based on T.O.’s history, he’ll try very hard to say nice things about his teammates and his coach. I predict Owens will describe Parcells as “the best gay coach I’ve ever had.”

Actually, I'd be that the NFC East team's fans would all have a lot more interest, though it would it still be lower than enough to warrant the media plastering him on that bike everywhere 24/7.
And no, I'm no a hypocrite. What motivated this post was I was watching NFL Live and as soon as they started talking about TO I turned it off. Then I swtiched to my tivo'd NFL total access, and sure enough they were covering TO. So I turned it to a music station (satelite TV rocks) and starting playing on the Mane and noticed there wasn't a single thread about TO.
I asked myself "Do people care as little as I do about TO? I mean the media is obssesed like he's good ratings, but watching him makes me sick of football news..."
So I made this poll and I hope ESPN gets the message. WE DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say, after watching the sports center stuff a bit last night I came to the conclusion that most of the TO issues in the Big D this year have been manufactured by the press.... I'm not convinced that there were (or even are) problems right now. If there are, it couldn't happen to a better team then the Cowboys and a loser like TO but personally I'm not convinced.
The press is like a cackeling flock of fledling birds and too many of us are willing to follow right along.
