Getting a pulse from the board it would appear on the surface that Cutler did well.
As a Chiefs fan that's good and bad news. Good because it can shake the foundation of the Broncos team this season. Bad because, if correct Cutler could be a challenge for the Chiefs in the future.
After 3 preseason games how many have joined the "Start Cutler Now" camp? Just curious.

Any Broncos fan in their right mind is not going to calling for Cutler to start in his rookie season.

To read the Mane after a game reads like a "Plummer is not as good as Cutler" campaign. You all talk of how Plummer will never be what Cutler is. That said, who "in thier right mind" wouldn't start him?

Not at all. In what way do you not see this as a serious question?
The mantra is, 'Maners dont want want Cutler to start. But it's fairly easy to see, it's not what you folks are really thinking. Just read the threads. You'll see that the question is legit.
Dont be so afraid. Crazy wont punish you.

Go back and read my post on your previous, yet identical thread. Unlike you I'm too lazy to pull it up and cut and paste. But if you have any interest you can go find it.

What the members of the mane are saying is that Cutler will be better than Plummer is right now. I am not sure what threads you hae been reading but I have only seen a few, a few, people (almost all overzealous noobs) call for Cutler to start this year. Everyone wants Cutler to sit and learn.
How is Croyle looking by the way?

Btw...the guy that lives across the street from my folks house restores crappy mustangs...I got him a noise pollution ticket this weekend. It was sweet. I told him I'd call the police on him everytime he fired one of those POS's up and made the other houses shake. It was funny. :)

Listen folks, I am just asking what I thought to be a legit question based on what I've been reading. Why you jump off the deep end, I can only quess. If you don't want to address the question, that is your right.

Yeah, internet message board talk is going to shake the foundation of the Broncos. You're reaching with this one. I guess you are just trying to stir the pot. It doesn't look like anybody is biting.
Shanahan would never start a rookie. We're a Super Bowl contender with Plummer, everyone knows that. Cutler has been real damn impressive this pre-season, but no one wants to see him starting every game his rookie year, that never works out well for a QB (even Roethlisberger had as many horrible games as he did good ones when he did it). Its Plummer this year, depending on how Jake does we'll see a controversy emerge for the '07 season, one that I'm sure Shanahan will quickly quell by the end of pre-season.

The chefs should just start Croyle cause they're not playing when it gets interesting.

I am a big Cutler fan and have been since pre-draft (it did take the Sr. Bowl for me to truely get on the bus) but as I have said since we drafted him, I dont want to see him on the field this year. No reason for it (baring injury). This is a great year to learn and pick things up. And I fully expect a realy QB battle next off-season, which Cutler will win.

There's no controversy...yet. I think Jake knows a strong start to the season is critical in quieting hysteria and rumors. But even that may not be enough. Sometimes be careful what you ask for. If Cutler goes in and costs the team games, will the happy dancers jump ship?
I have a slight difference of opinion regarding Cutler's arm strength from Shanny. Altho he rated it a 10, I'd personally give it a 9. Definitely stronger than Jake's though. Very smooth throwing motion on deep balls. But while the velocity is impressive, it isn't scary.

Jake starts; Cutler sits. Stop trying to start a controversy when there isn't one.

Trust us. When there's a quarterback controversey, we'll be the first to talk about it.

Another gutless reaction to a reasonable question.
You folks sure are begining to flince quickly these days. You seem somewhat gun shy.
Taco, you know damn good and well had you started a thread like this on the planet you would not get the same reaction. Proving once again, you can dish it but cant take it.
Double standard anyone?
Have a nice day.
