Well nothing for the world happened - (psychics and scholars pointed to 8/22 as a date in the muslim calander and no earthquakes or volocanoes either)

But my CPU at home died, so my computer felt the apocolypse.... ;)

Maybe your computer got 8/22 confused with Y2K.

[LOL] My home machine died spectacularly about 3 weeks ago, July 15th or so... what was the significance of that date in history? The motherboard shorted out, zorched the CPU and one RAM board with it, and the surge scrambled my main hard drive ("NTLDR missing" errors). I'm still working on rebuilding (on a super-tight budget) & recovering the HD. Argh.

m.
