I wouldn't part with him for anything less than a third rounder.

Well, if they balk, we can let the free passes go. There isnt anything at the theaters to see right now, anyways. But we should definitely hold out for 2 sandwiches. Which maybe what Shanny & Co are doing - which is why he is still in the fold.

Yep. That would be the limit, IMO.

A 3rd or a rotation DT/DE with pass rush ability

I agree 3rd rounder at least.

NFL Sirius radio reported the other day that a trade was in the works w/ Minnesota. But I've heard nothing since. I can't believe he is that hard to get rid of. A third round pick isn't that costly. Look at what we've gotten lately in the third round or lower.

Im thinking its not his ability thats hard to move but his mouth/brain. Hes in a contract year and wants to be handed the #1 position. If he goes somewhere for a year and does not get the #1 position will he negotiate a new contract thats fair or want to be paid like a #1???

A #3 is not overpriced for his services but throw in the fact hes in his last year and has a big head its not cheap either.

If true, a contract (at least the parameters of one) would have to be worked out prior to a deal being made. That could take a few days. No one wants to give up a 3rd rounder for a one year rental.

I'm willing to speculate that any trade will be dependant on Lelie agreeing to a contract extension, similar to what happened with Portis. I bet that is what's holding things up.

I was a little off. I did a search on his name. Since early Febuary of this year, when the trade talks started, there have been 85 threads with his name in the title. Pretty much all of them have been about the trade.

I'd say he has to be the most popular Bronco based on that info. That's pretty funny.

I love the Minnesota option. Give me Spencer Johnson (perfect rotational tackle) and a second day pick or just a pick alone, most likely a third.

I say we should do the following trades:

1: him and a 3rd to GB for Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila
2: him and a 2nd to ATL for Rod Coleman
3: him straight up to MIN for Kevin Williams
4: Get a late 2nd/early 3rd for him

When I started this tread I wasn't really being too serious.

My point was that it was taken soo long to move this guy that he may not be with too much.

I didn't mean to beat a dead horse here(no pun intended):welcome:

Nah. If they balk, we'll throw in a case of Ashley's favorite tampons. That'll get the deal done.

Fvck Ashley. Didn't we just trade a WR everyone thought would get cut? And yet we can't deal this little prima donna, flava clown ass hat? If we can't deal him by the final cuts, cut him. There's no sense wasting a roster spot on some punk who took his ball and left because he wasn't annointed #1 without having to earn it.

I think that the complication is that he's in his contract year, and nobody wants to part with a third rounder for a guy who is going to be a free agent. Obviously, any team trading for him has the option to sign him to a long term deal , but given his production last year, it's hard for them to know how much they should/shouldn't give him.

Personally, I beleive he'll be wearing a Broncos uni at some point this season.
