Cheap shot for sure, but it was his rookie year and I'm pretty sure it was a one time thing.

While unsportsmanlike the baseball clip was the "smartest" (I use that losely) as he took out the catcher before charging. The catcher always catches up so at least he took that aspect out. Still not cool.

Man, that hit on Brashear is absolutley terrifying to watch. Did they press criminal charges on that? If not they should have.
And the Westbrook hit on Davis was completely punk a$$. Guess Davis got the last laugh with a decent NFL career.
There were some nasty cheap shots for sure. But some lame ones too, compared with other blows that did not make the list.
That "blow" if you can call it that, in which Woody hit that football player with, barely even made that player turn around. He probably thought it was some mesquito biting him on the neck.
How about the NHL player a few years ago that sucker punched the Avalanch player from behind, knocking out, then jumping on his limp sprawled out body getting ready to land some more blows to the unconcious player. That was pathetic.
How about The Knicks' Anthony coming off the bench and sucker punching Kevin Johnson. Anthony the cheap shot beeoch. What a pus.
Another one was when Mercer kept on hitting Tommy Gun in the face when he was clearly out on the ropes but the stupid arse ref just sat there watching. There are a heck of alot of fighters that would have shown some class and turned to the ref asking him to stop the fight or something. I've seen that happen before.

that baseball clip was funny as hell... sidekick to the catcher, hilarious

Even though Westbrook as a CU guy, he's a beeoch too. Ok, so he hits the guy once to prove his point. But when it's your own damn teamate and the guy is clearly not even fighting back, and you continue to whale on him? Those other teamates watching are pusies too, If I was there and saw that, I would have been stickin my cleat so far up Westbrooks arse he wouldn't sit right for a year.

this being a "public" message board, and you posting a thread, you do in turn ask for everyone's opinion. Also first impressions are very important, ya might want to think about that

The cheap shot that Ray Ray laid on I think...Burns on that rediculous kick attempt that was run back while Denver trotted off the field was very cheap. Burns was just following the play.
The Sapp hit on some poor TE was similar and it broke his hip and ended his career to my knowledge.
Even the refs aren't exempt. Remember the bean bag flag in the eye incident? You throw it at their feet not their helmet.
Honorable mention: Rae Carruth for a for a moving violation hitting his pregnant ex-girlfiend with several bullets.

the only defense is that maybe he wasnt aiming at the nuts, he was aiming at the stomach. i guess that makes it a little more honorable, maybe?

No offense dude, but you need to check yourself. You're becoming increasingly unpopular with every post you make, and not just because of the content, but your attitude as well.
Not a slam, just a warning.

Throwing a punch in a football game is not honorable in any way. That punch was intended to be below the belt and was a stupid move. The only defense is that he hasn't had a history of cheap shots since (at least, that we know of) and he seems to be a decent football player, definitely a contributor to the Broncos.
No Romo in that movie...?

IIRC Burns was chasing down McAlister and Ray laid him out. I hate Ray as much as anyone, but it was a clean hit.

It was legal yes...but really cheap. Burns was a full 20 yards behind the play and didn't even see it coming. I couldn't believe he popped right up but I bet he was seeing stars. Why do the Vikings and Broncos have the weirdest plays of all time? Remember the Butch Johnson TD where he didn't actually make the catch in the Dallas SB. I flat out asked Butch when I by chance caught him at a Home Depot. He just laughed and smiled. We both had a good laugh.
I watch Tony Dorsett bounce around in a damn comedy routine rivaling that Tiki Barber run for 99 yards. Denver gets the FG attempt play. There have been alot of odd plays for both teams. Jim Marshall running the wrong for a safety.

I think we will change your handle from CD to 8 Track given the poor quality of your shiit.

I've never felt bad about kicking someone in the balls, so I'm clearly on Alexander's side on this one. BLAM-O!!!

I'd have to go watch the play again. I thought Burns was close enough to make a play on it, but maybe I'm wrong.
