Mike & Mike in the Morning ESPN Broncos Predictions

Mike & Mike + Stink gave their Broncos predictions about 5 minutes ago. Golic and Stink both said 11-5 this year. The other Mike said 9-7 based upon a "tough schedule". I'm surprised one Mike said 11-5, but I expected more from Stink...maybe 12-4. He did say they needed a better pass rush and had to blitz to make up for it. Very complimentary on the offense but said it was a "mid-range defense". These predictions are not usually worth their weight in crap but there ya go.

"Greeny" is as east cost biased as they come: he predicted the Pats to go 11-5 or 12-4 next season. He's a huge Jets and Mets fan.

He also says "that's neither here nor there" so much(about 5 times a show) that sometimes I want to reach through the radio and strangle him.

It's funny how a few days ago they said eventhough last year Green Bay was like in the top 10 against the pass that stat shouldn't mean that much cause most of the opposition was up by a lot and just ran the ball and killed the clock. But today they say the Broncos give up a lot of passing yds and have no pass rush, however they don't say that a lot of times last year Denver was leading most of those games forcing teams to pass more.

I agree with pretty much everyone on here about Greenberg. He is horrible and comes across has never forming his own opinion but just go with what's hot at the moment or following the so called experts.

It's possible for both of these things to be true. In my opinion, they both are. The don't rush with your linemen strategy worked well all year--we controlled the run and played ahead for the most part. It fell apart in the AFC Championship.

It's going to be harder to make it work this year because Cowher has shown everyone else how to beat the scheme. That's why we are making changes this year.

I sometimes think that people from the east (Greeny), do not like the Broncos because of the loyal fan base and the fact that Shanahan has managed to keep this team very competitive year in and year out. One losing season. Greenies NY (a big homer who knows no impartiality) teams typically go in the tank about every other year (not the Yankees).

I know people don't like Dave Logan, but he is much better than Greeny.

I like the fact that Green is a die hard fan and the Jets suck. I imagine the show might get a lot harder to take if the Jets were good and we had to list to Green crow about it. It's fun watching him suffer though. Kinda like Chef fan.
