I talked with Damien's coach from college. He said that Damien was so excited to go to the broncos, happiest moment of his life. After 2 days of being there he called the coach back and said he hated it and hated bobby turner. Coach said when he got there Coach Turner told him STRIKE 2, and has rode his but since. He talked to him yesterday and said damien is now now happy and feels he is going to the make the practice squad. He also said that shannahan is starting to talk to him, which he thinks that means he starting to do things right. It was great hearing this. Coach is convinced that if the broncos give him a chance, he keeps his attitude right, he could be a 1400 yard back in the NFL.

That is no big deal.
Bobby Turner and Tim Brewster do a great Bad Cop, Worse Cop routine in practice. And if they are NOT yelling at you, you are gone. They simply have extremely high standards and they are not going to praise you for just executing the play. You have to do it correctly and well in order to get praise.
I think Nash looked inconsistent when I was out there, but he signed 15 minutes before practice when Woods failed his physical ;D Give the kid some time in the system and on the Practice squad and he might be able to compete. It takes time to adjust to this system, and he missed alot of OTA's that would have helped him for this year.

Who gets yelled at the most among the RBs Med?
I know when Gibbs was here he used to yell at Coop all the friggin time because he thought the guy had the talent to be a solid guard but wasn't giving the effort!

Can Nash go to the PS if gets cut? I thought he'd only been in the league for 2 years and hasn't played much, so I thought I'd ask Khan or somebody that prolly knows.

The rule was that a player could be on a practice squad for tor two seasons if he had not been on the 53 man squad for more than 8 games. Someone mentioned on another thread that this rule was changed with the new CBA, but I have not seen any evidence of that (haven't looked very hard)

It was changed to three years in the new CBA. Look in the addendum on the NFLPA site for the whole set of rules.
fontaine, Bobby yells at everyone who doesn't execute perfectly. That means he yells at eveyone alot ;D Can not say that he was singling out anyone the way Brewster was on Scheffler though ^5

I always wanted a coach yelling at me. I always thought if they weren't, the didn't care. I mean if they think you did something good, they'll let you know.

Mike Klis, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/184">Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) RB Damien Nash (http://www.kffl.com/player/11346/nfl) has moved up to No. 3 on the depth chart at running back ahead of RB Cedric Cobbs (http://www.kffl.com/player/9484/nfl).

From what I understand Nash is running third due to Dayne being out with an injured toe. I guess that puts Nash 4th and Cobbs 5th?

This kind of reminds me of Pryce, when he complained a month or so ago about how Shanny was all over him for a misstep. Complained that every little mistake he was yelled at etc.
For the money that Trevor Pryce was getting and the years of experience that he had, he should expect a little yelling for screwing up. For what he was being paid, near perfection is the expectation. IMO Trevor had trouble seeing the cause and dffect relationship. To those who much is given, much will be expected. Dean:3 - 28:thanku:

Pryce was one of my favorite players, but now that he's said a bunch of crap about Denver, well he can go to.....Anyways, bout Nash, he seems pretty good and that he has a head on his shoulders. I wonder if Cobbs can play FB and be a FB/RB type of guy.
