Good stuff. Thanks.

Shows indecision for the fans all over the NFL. Everybody has an opinion......

You guys should be reminded .... yes, they're posting nice comments, but Cutler started 40+ games right there in Nashville the last 4 years ... so it should come as no big surprise they're so Cutler-friendly.

There's also the fact that Titans coach Jeff Fisher reportedly liked Cutler the most out of the three QB's. Bud Adams was the one who wanted Vince Young, and since he's the owner he has the final say.

If we knew today we would not be in SB this year would you be more open to starting Cutler this year?

I'd still let him sit a year to learn everything... or as much as hes going to learn in a year.

No. He looked good Friday, but it was preseason. Give him at least one FULL season to learn how Shanahan and company makes mid-game adjustments and watch Plummer. I don't want to do anything that would stunt his learning curve...

No. The last thing I want is for him to be thrown to the wolves too early. Give him at least a year to learn the offense, learn NFL defenses and get comfortable without the pressure of the fans & media on him.

I agree 100% on this but, do you think Shanny will sit him all season?

Barring an injury to Plummer, yes, I think he will.

Shanahan said recently that having Cutler here makes him want to coach ten more years. He knows that there's no need to rush this kid. He can bring him along at a comfortable pace and when he's ready, he'll be the guy.

I thought Vince Young looked good too, though Bradlee prolly would've looked all world against that second string D ... wait, the first string's second string, so that'd make the second string no better than fourth string ....

Let Cutler sit... at least until the 6th game. I have seen the Football son of god, Yaway, true pronounciation is Elway. His name is Jayus Cutler or JC for short.

If Cutler continues to look that good all preseason I may have a new Man Crush...sorry Gene.

Hilarious. I bet the Titans War Room was in shambles. Fish screaming that he wanted Cutler, Chow screaming that he wanted Leinart, and Adams - the man with the Gold - ultimately said, "Eff you guys. VY is the way to go."

I'll take Cutler right now over Leinart or Young.

What I found remarkable wasn't as much his cannon arm and proper footwork, it was his uncanny poise. He looked like 30 YO veteran out there. He made it look effortless. Yes, it was just preseason but I don't think you could of asked for anything better at this point. Two drives were killed by fumbles or his stats would of been even better. I think it was 2 if I remember right. Anyway, he looks ahead of the curve whille Leinart is still bickering. Equally impressive was how he raced to Dove Valley to catch the end of the first meeting. I bet that was a sight with the players hooting. He inked that very evening.

The kid seemed pretty good. "Effortless" is a good characterization of his play under the lights for the first time. Seemed like he just fit right in to the NFL. Very impressive.
