Scouting last nights St.Louis vs Indy game

Wanted to know peoples' thoughts of what they gleaned about Our first regular season opponent.

My personal thoughts are that this is going to be a better match up than originally anticipated.

Running Game looked decent and so did their defense. Both seemed improved anyway. It also could be that Indy's depth sucks and they also look like they took a step backwards on defense. As we all know though this is just preseason

indy defense looks really lost last night

I posted that INDY's defense was minus 6 starters and three DT's last night. They actually sat about 2/3 rds of their starters from the OL too and they are really weak on the Interior OL and not much better.

Again, the Rams defense was very aggressive though right from the start. Haslett has some pass rush so they are going to play eight in the box more often than last year I believe to try and negate the run Game. I hope Denver makes them pay if they are that aggressive on Sept 10th.

The Rams offense will have some hiccups early on but will once again be a force in the NFL. It will be a good game when we play them. Could go either way.
