FBI seeking 11 Egyptiona students who went AWOL ASAP

This really concerns me on a few levels. These kids qualify for a student exchange program so they are not idiots yet 11 of 17 never showed up at the school. They flat out disappeared once they got into the country. Its not like one or two of them got lost or decided to drink too much and show up late. 11 of them are somewhere in the country not trying to make contact with their school or local authorities to explain they are lost or in trouble ect......I dont like the smell of this one not one bit.

"The FBI has issued an urgent nationwide alert for 11 Egyptian students who entered the United States last week but failed to show up for their courses at Montana State University.

An FBI advisory says there are, at present, no known connections to any terrorist group but that the students are to be "approached with caution" and taken into custody. They "are here illegally and wanted for questioning," the advisory says.

The advisory comes just over a month before the five-year anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks on the United States.

"This is of very serious concern and is being closely tracked," said Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

The FBI says the Egyptians arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on July 29 and disappeared. The advisory says the alert is nationwide but that there is specific concern the Egyptians may be on the Eastern Seaboard.

According to the advisory the 11 missing Egyptians are:

1. Ibrahim, El Sayed Ahmed Elsayed; DOB OF 4/29/1986.
2. El Dessouki, Eslam Ibrahim Mohamed; DOB OF 02/21/1985.
3. El Bahnasawi, Alaa Abd El Fattah Ali; DOB OF 04/02/1986.
4. Abd Alla, Mohamed Ragab Mohamed; DOB OF 02/15/1984.
5. El Laket, Ahmed Refaat Saad El Moghazi; DOB OF 09/01/1986.
6. El Ela, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Abou; DOB OF 02/02/1985.
7. El Moghazy, Mohamed Ibrahim Elsayed; DOB OF 08/08/1986.
8. Abdou, Ebrahim Mabrouk Moustafa; DOB OF 02/25/1984.
9. El Gafary, Moustafa Wagdy Moustafa; DOB OF 07/01/1988.
10.Maray, Mohamed Saleh Ahmed; DOB OF 09/12/1985.

How can you say that post 9-11? Anything that involves ME men, and something suspicious should always be taken seriously now. Why must we assume everything is A-ok, and then have another 9-11 happen?

Maybe then this country will wake up again to the fact their are still people out there with the capabilities to kill us.

I think we should put single white men - 18-44 with extreme religious/political beliefs on the list. We have tim mcveighs, nichols, rudolphs that show white men are dangerous.

In fact, i think we should create a national DB, and we should keep track of everyone's healthcare, financials, books, magazines, internet sites someone visits.

We have to make sure we are safe from anyone who is dangerous.

It's OK, you can get out from under the covers... Seriously we have good men in the FBI and law enforcement who hopefully will do their job and keep an eye on situations like this. When are the fear mongers ever going to let it go. Who said I was living in fear? I dont go around daily afraid something is going to happen.

I'm saying when something like this happens, 11 ME men dissappear inside our county, I want it taken care of.

And I agree. I do think something will happen again. I just hope Im wrong, and that it isnt as devestating as 9-11.
