View Full Version : why i think Peterson lied about Roafs retirement

Could the reason for Chiefs hiding Roafs departure have anything to do with Ty Law? I think it within reason to think Chiefs didn't want to tell because they know how devestating this is for the offense. Ty Law prob won't see playoffs now and winning is very important to him. He may have went back to pats if he knew this. This is a bit of a reach but i think possibly a reason for the secrecy.

I'm going to amend your theory a bit. I think if teams knew the Chiefs would have money to pay Law, they might have tried to price him out the ketchup & mustard market...

Putting people in the seats is the main job of Carl Peterson....if it were winning championships, he wouldn't be one of the longest tenured GM's in the league...Long live Carl!

I don't think that's an unreasonable theory at all. The inevitable attrition has begun. They have lost both starting tackles from 05.

the reason is Peterson reads Bob's post , Peterson has become attached to the little freak and didnt want bob going off the deep end ( if he hasnt already) ...... untill Law signed .....Peterson soften the blow ... or somthing like that ;D

Funny thing is that if Carl hadn't dissed Tait, they'd still have a better than decent line.
