If you like zoo's we have a great zoo. Otherwise hit up Cherry Creek shopping, still great weather to take trip up to the mountains.

I haven't did the tour in about 2 years but yes you get free beer afterwards, pop and energy drinks for others that don't want beer. It wasn't more than an hour or so from what I remember (tour part), but outside you get to go to the barn and check out the clydesdales and dalmations as well, take pics, that as was cool. They also have a HUGE gift shop

Maggianos is pretty good, I like Gumbo's but my wife didn't, never been to la loma, and lucky strike I walked in and right back out. It looks nice but not my type of crowd, and I can't see paying those type of prices when there are better food and drinks in downtown.

If you are looking for two excellent places to dine..I recommend the following..La Dolce Vita in Castle Pines (sort of a drive down South, but worth it) Sushi Den (if you like sushi) These are my two favorite places and take most of my money.

My daughter will be there...but, she's 17 and does her own thing most of the time. She'll probably go shopping with us and stuff, but if we hit the clubs, she'll hang out at the hotel. I usually have the laptop, and she loves that. Or, she'll bring the playstation and play it in the room. Or, she'll hang out at Invesco and just stare at the stadium!! She loves that place!!

I went to the San Diego zoo 2 years ago and I wasn't impressed at all, I like ours better. The only thing they have we don't is the Panda's, and so many people want to see that you have no time to look, otherwise they are way too spaced out and the enclosuers I don't think are our cool as ours. Everyone says well it's a huge zoo...eyah with nothing in it...lol you are walking for a minute between exhibits thats why it's big.

If you have a car, check out the Little Bear in Evergreen. Be sure to have a designated driver for the trip back to town. You ladies can add to the decorations in the rafters.
Head down to Park Meadows for shopping at the big stores. Buy a nice watch from Kaylore.

Good point. I was at the SD zoo last year. Walked me ass off. Too many people. Hell it took me 20 minutes just to park at the dump.
Denver Zoo is great. You can hit our zoo, walk the City park, and the museum all in the same time as the Diego Zoo.

I will say this, that if you like baseball a lot, I'd recomend going to a Rockies game. Coors Field is a really beautiful park.
Also, I know the first thing I'm going to do when I get back to D-Town, is scarf a Chipotle burrito. So sad they don't have a restuarant here in Norman.
Also, just look West, and stare at the mountains for a minute. They are really something.
Theres also Elitche's to go to, although I'm not a big fan of amusement parks and haven't gone there.
The aquarimine(sp?) is supposedly pretty good, museum is solid too.

Not if Pete drove to work and looking for a little pick me up for the way home. Just keep going up the mountain from golden and gamble at Black hawk and Central CIty. I love LODO for its bars and restaurants. All meat eater like Fred Flintstone must go to the Brazilian restaurant near the Union station I believe close to Wazoo. MEAT MEAT MEAT!
COors field is great but the tour is worth it. Rocky Mountian Oysters anyone?
jth1331, Chipotle is about 3/4 of a mile from me. Great fat burritos. In and out will be coming across the country now that the old lady died a few days back. Look for public offering on the exchange and put places like White Castle to shame. If you havent had a In n out burger, you havent experienced good fast food. Plus, everyone that works there is not an illegal alien!

I am planning on coming in for the faiders game. We should get a group together. It would be a race to their bathroom. Then add more meat the next day for the game! It is costly but worth the try (and then comeback for more MEAT!).
I don't have a ticket to the game, but wouldn't mind hanging out with some folks sometime during that weekend.

No trip to Colorado, or Denver for that matter is complete until you take I-70 west thru some of the most beautiful country on the planet. Eisenhower tunnel, Vail pass, Dillon res., everything up there rocks.
The Flatiron Mall in Boulder was really cool too.
