I found my personal Necronomicon and read it and now I'm all messed up and thinking weird thoughts. You know, non-euclidean stuff that gets people put in jackets that tie together at the arms.

Does that mean it's time for prayers or for another round of Orangemane Survivor? ???

It means I need to curl up into a tiny ball in the corner for a few hours, gibbering incoherently.

So, I'll be the one to admit I had to pull out dictionary.com to discover what you were talking about... ::)

Main Entry: necronomicon
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: a book of the dead, a history of the customs of the dead
Etymology: coined by H.P. Lovecraft, nekros `corpse' + nomos 'law' + eikon 'image'

Actually, sounds interesting...the history and customs of different cultures. When I took spanish, we had to learn about the Mexican and Spanish cultures and part of that was to learn about Dia de los Muertos. It was very interesting.

I'm sure the cultures of some of the remote South American and African tribes are intersting, as well as the Asian culture.

I must admit I was in the fecal position myself for a hot one.

What I was referring to was a fictional work:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necronomicon

"In the stories, the book is dangerous because it is often harmful to the health and sanity of its readers. For this reason, libraries keep it under lock and key."

Translation: I came across some of my old papers yesterday and I read something mind-blowingly disturbing that I had completely forgotten about and all sorts of strange things sort of spun out of that.

I might have lost a couple sanity points, but I am up and running okay today.

ahhh.....Now I understand!

Well, good to know that you are back and running again! Just chalk the loss of sanity points up and use them for your next survivor creation.

Sounds like flashbacks from the 60's to me :)

Seriously though, hope all is well.

Fixed your typo. Other than that, everything is dandy. Except I might need a shrink, eventually.

OTOH, when you're in your '50s, why bother? Delusions got me this far. May as well dance with the one who brought me.

Anyway, this has gotten obscure enough. Thanks for the concern by everyone, but I'm going to lock this thread and throw it in the sea.
