Just want to know who else besides me grew up in the goal. I spent my 4rth-8th grade in goal then 11th&12th. No one ever seems to respect the goal keeper but I tell you from fact it has the highest pressure on that poss. that you can ever feel.

I played a little, but hated it, I cant stand, standing there for the whole game.

I played Forward and some Midfield, just depended. I played from the time I was 6 to junior year of HS.

I really do miss competitive sports. I need to join a leage again.

I played MF or DMF mostly and was back up goal keeper when I was younger. But in 11th grade we played a team that was kickin the hell out of us (I think it was 6-0 at half, they finished up like 3rd in state) our goalie walked off the field and quite. The coach put in a 9th grader because we realy didnt have a back up goal keeper. The game ended up 11-0 and I took the coach off to the side after the game and told him I would take over the spot and finished my last 2 years there. As for being boring and just standing there, well that would be good but I had crapy def. backs and got shot on all game long (and yea Im not scared to say it our team sucked).
