Understandable. I'm both a parent and someone who has piercings, but if your parents are against it, wait until you hit 18.

I've had buddies of mine kid me like that about my tongue ring before. I usually just shot back with something about how their wife/girlfriend/mother/sister seemed to like it. ;D

We just broke up last week, and last Saturday was my first night out as a single man, and I'm serious the girls are just so interested in it. BTW Sunday morning started with a three some.
I told my mom the day before I was getting my lip pierced that I was getting it done. She flipped out, my dad was pretty pissed too. They both told me not to get it done. I came home the next day, with my gf so I didn't get bitched out right away but when she left my mom went crazy, she hated for atleast 2 or 3 weeks. My Dad really didn't care, I didn't have a job at the time and that was the only thing that worried him (me having a hard time getting a job with a facial piercing). Everything has worked out great though. My mom doesn't hate me anymore. I got a job, a job that I can even wear my lip ring at, and eventhough I'm single right now, I've got quite a few options to play with right now (all female:).
