I'd like to see Shamrock win, but it's highly doubtful. I don't especially dislike Tito either though. He's hypocritical and disrespectful, but he's also entertaining. He seemed to have a sense of humor about the literal spanking that Couture gave him. Hopefully Ken gives a better showing of himself tonight.
I think Arlovski has to be the favorite over Silvya. But with the power these two guys both have...anything can happen. We saw that in their last fight. If it goes to the ground I don't think Silvya has much of a chance at all. I don't think either of the two expects the fight to go more than one.

Im rooting for Shamrock.
The only difference I see in the 2 fighters training, is that Shamrock is actually getting trained by trainers specially for this fight, Tito isnt doing that, and is mainly weightlifting and fighting his students.
I wish I could see the fight, but alas, I work.

tito is going to kill sham-flop... I would consider buying it if it wasn't going to be a total embarrassment for sham-flop.. tito will make him look worse than last time and last time sham-flop looked like he had a midgets head on his forehead

What a ****ing joke. All the hype surrounding the Shamrock/Ortiz fight and the ref jumps in and stops it early. Is that ****ing ref related to Richard Steele? Unbelievable.
This will be the last UFC PPV I ever pay for. What a rip off.

What was the reason for the stoppage?? Was Shamrock defending himself?

tito was hit by, at least 3 of the elbows, but being a (pretty big) fight he (fred dean), should of let tito land a few more. The crowd was pissed...... Also, they announced chuck "the ice man" lidell vs vanderlaie "the ax murderer" silva for a fight in nov.. which will be a really good fight. go chuck. with so many good fighters, these events should be packed with great fighters for every event........

really, these mma sports are one of the fastest growing sports in the world and feature some of the worlds best atheletes. I can assure you that they are evolving and are being taken seriously. These type of events draw celeberties on the scale of almost any event (i.e. sporting) in the world.

i'm pretty glad i didn't order this. it's just like a boxing ppv, you can pay $40 and get a great long lasting competitive fight or it can be over in 2 seconds. Most of the time the ppvs are not worth the price.
Did anyone hear about the weigh-in story between Tito and Ken? It got a little chuckle out of me and I'm not sure if they showed it on the ppv. The weight limit is 205 and Shamrock came in at 206 so Tito threw a hissy fit complaining, but supposedly in Nevada you are allowed to be one pound over so Shamrock was fine. Then Ortiz steps on the scale and weighs 206.5 and he had like 20 minutes to lose half a pound.

They showed that, it was hilarious. Tito was prett animated and then got quiet pretty fast after he stepped on the scale.

What sport. The promoters killed the golden goose and most of the plays are fixed anyway.
And you wonder why the NFL doesn't want the NFL in Vegas.

Not much going on through two rounds. The fight hasn't gone to the ground at all, a couple of nice shots landed by each guy, but no real flurries or damage done. Pretty even so far.

I think he's using his right glove to point to the spot that he was going to hit Bowe in. Calling his shot, so to speak.

He dominated that fight without the low blows. Nobody knows why he wouldn't stop throwing them. Andrew wasn't the most coachable athlete. They kicked him out of Poland for being too stubborn. And for beating and pantsing a guy.

I remember. He walks away with both of the Bowe fights if not for the inexplicable low blows.
He's a strange one indeed. Is he still fighting? The last I remember seeing of him was when he got KO'd in the first round by someone who he was supposed to beat.

I don't know where he is now. He was about the only Polish athlete I could never really root for (too hard). Just a street thug from the Warsaw ghettos when they found him and he never lost that mentality.
