Last year they skipped the last day of practice and went bowling. This year we're quite a bit younger, so I'd like to see them use this last day. What do you think they'll do?

Great, all we need is for our QB's to practice throwing the ball underhand.
Bowling and massive quanities of brew. We used to midnight bowl at Athmar lanes, a real dive...they turned off all the lights except for the pins.

The bowling was a bonding tool and it seemed to work (13-3). If Shanahan feels like the rooks are grasping the concepts well enough, I wholeheartedly support an non-football activity for the team...

The whole team bonding is very unrated, without it we just have a group of guys that do the same thing. Shanahan right to push some competitive non-football activities on the group to bring them together. It easier to lay it all on the line if you like the guy your playing with.

From the offical site- Thought this was extremely funny:

"Their fiery, feisty interaction wasn't limited to bowling, either. Several players -- including Jake Plummer, Bradlee Van Pelt, Jay Cutler, Tony Scheffler and Preston Parsons -- spent part of the morning huddled by a machine where each tried to maneuever a mechanical claw in order to snag a stuffed animal, an endeavor that proved worthy of peeks from Shanahan and assistant head coach Mike Heimerdinger.
The vision of well-to-do athletes roaring and gesturing over the opportunity to claim prizes that probably cost about 11 cents to assemble was an odd sight. But given their inherent competitiveness, even an activity such as that proved worthy of emotion."

"Some people say that bowling alleys got big lanes
Some people say that bowling alleys all look the same
There's not a rhyme here that ryhmes with anything...
Had a dream last night but I forgot what it was...."
Sorry, couldn't resist.
