The TE position (or lack there of) is what makes us weak in the receiving core.

But, is this the year Nate comes out? Will Sheffler turn heads?? I just hope all of them combined makes some sort of dent in the middle of the field.

i was expecting somewhere around 15. Rod is the only sure thing at the moment until Walker hopefully proves otherwise and Lelie is one dimensional if he does stay and play. Just like our rbs we don't have that game changing wide out, but still have a good set.

I agree that it was better than expected. Until we can establish a solid #3 receiver and our TE's prove they can get the job done there are too many IF's to give denver a strong ranking. I can see that they may be weighing the success of our running game and its potential to open the passing game but its still not proven, outside of Rod of course.

It's not our pass game vs our run game. It's our receiving corps vs our running corps and right now, our receivers are clearly more talented than our running backs.

I love the potential of our WR's but, they need to prove it. I'd rank us lower now and by end of 06 we could have solid unit and deserve a higher ranking.
