CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.

Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.

Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.

Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.

The other day as I was driving down from LA, to OC to return my rent-a-car, and take my flight home, I tuned into Air America just to see what was going on. And the guy who was on was ridiculous. Everytime he would talk about a republican, he would refer to them as an "a-hole." I just find it ammusing how they call themselved the "Intelligent" parrty, and caring, and compassionate, yet they talk like a bunch of Neanderthals. I cant take someone seriously who talks that way all the time, and even refers to other humans, regardless of what opposing views they have from mine, as "a-holes", or something else along those lines. To attempt to hide the fact that you have the problem for whatever reason (I can only surmize it's an ego thing to be honest due to the nature of the malady), and break the law in "hiding" the medication and malady, thats a HUGE problem. What's wrong with just recieving treatment like everyone else, and counting on medical "right to privacy" keeping it out of the public eye. Then, if anyone did happen to get a hold of the info, for no good reason, you could sue their damn nosy butt off. He has shown VERY poor judgement in this particular scenario and I can't tell you how bad his credibility is shot up on this one..dman

Actually, the worst thing I could say about a political commentator is that they are an inarticulate, liberal. The next worst would be just "inarticulate." That's why I don't care for Hannity. He's dumb and can't talk his way out of a paper bag. O'Reilly is often wrong on the econ 101 stuff. But he makes his points forcefully and well, regardless whether I agree with him. And, he's pretty good at cutting thru BS by his interviewee.

As to Coulter, she is way smarter than me and way more articulate. She frequently has good stuff to say and her research is usually impeccable--people who don't know that have never read one of her books. Even when she goes over the edge and gets outrageous like Michael Moore or Randi Rhoades (sp?) do daily, which she sometimes does, it's fun to watch the left hyperventilate in response. Only their guys get to be outrageous--it's not fair when the other side does it.

As one example, she claimed in one of her books that the Times was out of touch with middle America because they did not mention the death of Dale Earnhardt for three days. Problem is, there is a piece front page of the Times on the accident the very day after it happened. Very lazy research on her part, and not the only example.
