I hate it.
Always hot.
No rain.
Rarely getting Bronco games, stupid Chargers.
I plan on going to CU or CSU.
Which is better? I want to have a career in computers.
How are their Tech. Deparments?
Yes the main reason I plan on moving to Denver is because of the Broncos.

CSU isn't as leftist as CU and is a smaller, more mellow school. It was originally an A&M school. Both have good football programs. With your disability you might consider Colorado School of Mines. It's a real get down to business school with less distractions. It's in Golden, a town much quieter. You might get caught up in the fast paced, San Fransisco type atmosphere there. Mines is much much quieter, and very underrated. Tuition would probably be less than CU as well. My only concern is you might get lost in the mix. CU is a huge, spread out school Mines is much more compact and studius. CU IS a party school, no question. I would certainly look into Coors City...err...Golden.

No institution in the eight-state Mountain West (New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana) was in the top 50. Only six Mountain West schools made Tier 2—University of Utah, Brigham Young University, University of Arizona, University of Colorado, Colorado School of Mines (a state technological institution), and University of Denver (a private, nonsectarian college).
Mines is a dedicated technical school.

Check out the campus in Denver, it's nice, and the IT department is good to go.
I love SD, and as a veteran of Denver for over 20 years, the only thing that draws me back to Colorado is family, friends, and skowboarding. I think I wore out the bar scene in Denver, but for family Highlands Ranch is top notch for sure.

That's another good point. In state tuition is generally around a third of out of state. I've heard of people lying to get into CU but that was a many moons ago. Stanford is a fine school, a little too liberal for me, but your not me. California is a little less party time from my impressions. It would be much more temperate there than down by the border. Plus you could go to Oakland games as an added bonus.
I can just picture Red Rocket in his wheel chair getting ripped to shreds in the Black Hole wearing his Elway jersey. Ha!

Banning is one hell of a scary stretch of road my friend, especially if you ever have to take Hwy 60 through the San Jacincto pass. Holy crap. I'm a white knuckled driver there at all times. Plus, the cops there are as heavy handed as I've ever seen in the Cali desert. All in all, a good place to avoid altogether.

Yeah, generally I try to stay on the 10, especially with all the construction on the 215/60 interchange. Sometimes I don't have a choice though if I have to go down to Perris to pick up a load from the Lowes distribution center. Otherwise I try not to go into LA til after 10pm if I don't need to.

It took me a while, but San Diego has finally grown on me.
Whoever said it is right, you don't really appreciate it here until you go somewhere else. It's hot sometimes, but never too hot to do anything. Growing up in Wisconsin, it would get SO hot in the summer time that you couldn't do anything sometimes... and ever worse, it was humid! It's really never humid in San Diego. The best part is that you can do anything you want on any day of the week. You never have to check the weather before planning something, ever.
It took me about a year and a half to get over the fact that blonde girls in bikinis weren't going to spontaneously fill my house every weekend, with guest appearances by Snoop Dogg. Like everywhere else, it's what you make of it... it's just that in San Diego, you really don't have to try too hard.
Oh, plus i'm 21 now... that makes a huge difference here.
EDIT: Oh, and i hate the Chargers as well. I hate the bandwagon fans, i hate Shawn Ferriman and his stupid light switch tatoo.... just a horrible organization..

I'm a CU Alum so I am not knocking them. Mines in state tuition is just slightly higher than CU, but some of the other costs are lower. They offer a much more concentrated cirriculum (difficult) in their specialty areas (mostly engineering) and their students usually have guaranteed jobs by the end of their junior year at 1.5 to 2 times the national average for those disciplines. With the new President and the money he can raise, I expect Mines to boom, just like U of Denver has after they got the contributions rolling in.
