View Full Version : I won 66 cases of beer from Raider Nation this last season and made a Corona couch!

Since we are in between football seasons I wanted to share a few photos from the 2005 Bronco season with the Orange Mane!
I've had a wager with 2 die hard Raider fans at work and every year we wager cases of beer on Broncos/Raiders games and especially when they play each other.
During the 2003 season they paid me 17 cases and 2004 brought in 6 cases but after this last season they had to shell out 66 cases of beer to me!
In addition to this years beer, we had agreed before the season that if either team swept the other team then the losers would have to be "B1TCHES FOR A DAY" at the winners place and wear the winner's jersey/cap and cook/BBQ etc for the winner all day.
You can image the fun it was!
I had the "RAIDER B1TCHES" replay both of the 2005 Broncos/Raiders games for us several times on the big screen as they were cooking for me!

You never explained why 66 cases? How did it come to that? Nice win though.

I won 16 cases on each of the Broncos vs Raiders head to head games which was 32 cases total.
Raider Nation lost more on the other Raiders games thru the year as they were getting desperate.

Pish-posh. Why don't you just go shoot fish in a barrel? That said, my former boss uped the ante to a six pack of soda per game. No coercing by me at all. Faider fans.

I've had some pretty interesting bets with faider fans. One of the funniest was with a couple associates that I made wear Bronco gear to a game in LA when the fade played there. All day long they tried to explain themselves to fellow fade fans.
Then again one of the bets I lost I wound up having to jump out of a perfectly good airplane from 12,000 feet. The fade fan turned out to be an avid skydiver I obviously had one too many when making the bet and the faiders actually won a game against us that year. Got free lessons and a funny video of me in sheer terror.
It turned out to be a blast after the first few seconds of sheer terror. It was all fun and games till I looked down between my feet onto a topographical world below, kissed my butt goodby and rolled out of the plane hoping I'd land softly somehow.... somewhere..... lol
