Terry Glenn makes a bit more sense. It's certainly more valid than trying to compare him to one of the elite players in the league at the position.
I haven't seen enough of Parker to really compare him to anyone. The only time he seems to do anything in the Broncos/Chefs games is when the outcome has already been decided. I just know that when you compare someone to one of the league's best, they'd better have shown something that warrants that comparison. If they haven't, it makes you look like a homer. Kind of like the people who compared Quentin Griffin to Barry Sanders.

Lelie has established himself as one of the best deep threats in the league as evidenced by him leading the league in YPC for the last two seasons. Unfortunately that's the only trick he has in the bag, but it still makes him handy to have around.

Then why didn't have the "whining" have any effect on Lynch's previous issues.
The correct answer to my question is that the NFL, after watching the flims, decided there was not an infraction worthy of a fine. Believe me when I say that if there was a helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless receiver, Lynch would have been fined.

I've just learned my lesson...I should never question the scouting abilities of an NFL-caliber scout such as you. I saw Parker drop more balls in the first quarter of the Broncos game last year than Rod Smith has dropped in his entire career.
Parker vs. Harrison:
Size: check
Speed: check
Style: check
Hands: apparently, according to Boob, check

You just want him to retire so that he'll stop biatchslapping your prissy little receivers. Besides, no need to retire when he's still a Pro Bowl caliber safety, which he clearly is.

Because he's not a pro bowl player. But he's very solid and he was a big upgrade for us last year. Made some big plays and was in on several game-saving stops.
ummmm...can you name the Pro Bowl safety who played for the Broncos last year? God, this just proves you truly are an imbecile...
Lynch is slow and past his prime, but a Pro Bowler nonetheless. Knight is a solid upgrade for the Chiefs, but not a pro bowl caliber player. You can't have your cake and eat it too, jackass!

You just want him to retire so that he'll stop biatchslapping your prissy little receivers. Besides, no need to retire when he's still a Pro Bowl caliber safety, which he clearly is.
That's hilarious. Lynch was invisible on the field against KC. The one time he hit one of our receivers, it was a huge bonus for us. He's no more a pro bowl caliber safety than Jerome Woods was the year he made it. I have multiple replays of him dancing with our blockers and ball carriers. The hardest hit he's laid on a Chiefs running back in two seasons came after the play in 2004 at Arrowhead (nice right hook, John).
I ain't fraid of no Lynch.

Lynch is a white version of Sammy Knight. He's not even close to the player he once was. He was darn near invisible against KC last year. He needs to retire.
So how many touchdowns did Gonzales have last year?

Like I said, Parker needs experience. Last year was basically his rookie season. He's only played in a handful of NFL games. Starvin Marvin wasn't an instant success.
Harrison first 2 years:
Rec. Yards Avg. TD's
64 836 13.1 8 |
73 866 11.9 6
Parker first 2 years:
Rec. Yards Avg. TD's
9 137 15.2 1 |
36 533 14.8 3
Thus proving that another IDIOTIC comment has been made by the Zubaz wearing Boob...
There simply is no comparison here...other than they are virtually the same size dimension. I'm 5'11 190...but I sure as hell am not Marvin Harrison.

No my friend, it is you who is the idiot. What you fail to realize is that Parker BARELY PLAYED AT ALL as a rookie. For all intents and purposes, last year was his rookie year, and his first year as a starter.
And you again are missing the point like others. I never said Parker was going to be the next Marvin. Only that they were comparable types of wide receivers. Parker's comparable to Terry Glenn, too. Or a slightly taller Deion Branch. Take your pick. Stop overreacting.

Gonzo still had a fine year with over 900 yards. He wasn't properly used in the redzone in my opinion. We'll find out this year because our offensive co. is a former tight ends coach.

First of all, I'm not your friend. I'll readjust the stats for you, to further illustrate that there is no comparison...and for "all intents and purposes", when you compare Parker to Harrison, you are saying that he has Harrison-like talent, which is preposterous. Here are the adjusted stats for you:
Harrison first year:
Rec. Yards Avg. TD's
64 836 13.1 8 |
Parker first year:
Rec. Yards Avg. TD's
36 533 14.8 3
Any comparison?
And to further illustrate that you are an idiot, here are Terry Glenn's rookie year stats:
Rec. Yards Avg. TD's
90 1132 12.6 6
Hell, even Branch's relatively weak rookie stats, considering he did as the #3 or 4 receiver his rookie year, IMO are more impressive that Samie's "rookie" year:
Rec. Yards Avg. TD's
43 489 11.4 2

Chief Fan defending another Chief Fan, how surprising.
If you only knew that Bob/GoChiefs was a closet Broncos fan, would you still defend his points?
If you really knew how much he loved our ballclub, would you be so quick to back him up?
