There has been speculation in Oakland that the Raiders might part company with Warren Sapp, who had a strong relationship with Lions coach Rod Marinelli with the Buccaneers.

Anyone up for adding Sapp, if he were to be cut? I think I know the answer, but still. I personally would love it if he were a Bronco...

What about Dan Wilkenson?.....Alright, bad idea.

Does anybody else know of any defensive lineman who could become availible as of June 1st?

Wilkinson might be worth a look. He's not going to be a difference maker, but could be a warm body for the rotation.

Sapp can park it up, left and sideways.

I think it would be a nice signing (Big Daddy) and would free up Warren to shoot the gap more. I am sure Al would be freed up to gamble a little more also.

Nah.. I think the Broncos are good with who they have.

I have never really liked Warren Sapp, I have always felt he was over-rated.

Besides he is on the downside of his career, and if he can't make it in Oakland why should we think he will do anything in Denver?

Big Daddy Wilkenson.. maybe he would be worth a lot at veteran league minumum.

Sapp was having a great year last year before he got hurt. Something like 5 or 6 sacks in 6 games.

Sapp is but a former shell of himself.

In ten games (sorry) Sapp had 5 sacks and 32 total tackles, plus 1 INT. Thats more then anyone on our Dline and thats just 10 games. I'll take that any sunday.

The guy did have a pretty decent year last year compared to our entire defensive line. Sometimes a change of scenery does help just ask every former Brown. I don't want him cause he will most likely still be asking for big $ and doesn't shut up.

Any other potential June 1 cuts?

Sapp is the last thing we need, all trash talk and can't back it up.

We're kinda thin at DT ourselves. I don't think Sapp is going anywhere unless a total youth movement/roster turnaround is in the works.

Sapp seems to get frustrated easily, so when he does get to the QB like Bledsoe, he spikes him on his head which draws an unsportsmanlike penalty, which in turn causes his team to lose .. Pass on Ssap
