I remember a quote from Marc Crawford back when he coached the Avs (what now seems like 100 years ago) when he was asked about how many different languages were spoken in the Avs locker room with players from so many different countries in there. He said, "There are two languages spoken in the room, english and profanity."
Things like what we saw in that video are the reasons why leagues have final approval on what can be aired when a network mics up a player.
