It's much more simple than that. Convince Hillary to run for president and the Democrats nominate her and the Republicans will be a shoe-in to win in '08...

It's even simpler than that:

Just "win" the same way you "won" in 2000 and 2004.

If the Democrats nominate Hillary, they will become irrelevant for 8 more years.

the Democratic candidate will be Mark Warner former governor of VA. Popular Leader of heavily conservative state, successfully business man and moderate on social issues.

The key to victory is to let the Dems "Get their message out" and not nominate McCain or Jeb.

The Dems are a joke. If they ran a ticket with just about anybody BUT Hillary, they'd win. Hell, they could run Cardboard Kerry again and win. The Religious Right just wouldn't give a damn and stay home. But the Dems will select Hillary. Not only will that drive the Religious Right to vote, they'll be dragging their old grandma to the polls with them. The numbers at the polls in the South will be huge. Those on the hard Left whose number one issue is the war will abandon the Dems and go independent and all the white males down the middle will go GOP. Hillary represents almost a "perfect storm" of defeat for the Dems, no matter who the GOP runs (it will be McCain). That's why the Dems will choose her. That's why Rupert Murdoch is giving her money. Hopefully, some day the Dems will just fold up and blow away to be replaced by a party that actually represents something or somebody. They've become nothing more than a side-show of morons. Like Obama said, the Dems don't represent nothing, they represent everything - from 24/7 abortions on demand to anti-flag burning amendments. I'll be shopping for an Independent this time around.

Same could be said for Repubs they just aren't as fragmented at this point. How farmer joe in the west can be represented by the same party as southern baptists Matt in the deep south is incredible.

Classic. However, I think the Dems have shown that they can manage to pull defeat from the jaws of victory even if they ran unopposed. And with Howard Dean driving the ship and Hilary as the golden girl, the Repubs would have to wreck the economy, start World War III, and endorse Satanism as its party religion (openly, not covertly as some do via their actions) to lose the White House. I tell ya, if they renounced their plank on abortion, they'd win in a landslide. But instead, Dean holds that plank up as a beacon of Democratic policy and muzzles any pro-lifers in the party.

Funny I saw a poll about a month ago with a possible variety of Democratic and Republican candidates and Hillary had them all beat. No I don't have a link and really don't care if anyone believes me. I'd like to see Barrack Obama run.

Amesj's 5 pt plan for america!

1.) Make use of cheap immigrant labor. Legalize all 'natural' drugs (ones that do not need processing) and use immigrant labor to work on the state run farms. They are indentured servents anyway, might as well make the housing/sustanice well worth it, oh and tax the goods that become legal.

2) - remove patriot act provisions, such items can be used, but must be cleared unless it required immediate action. The event will still be reviewed and if any errors occured, then it will have to be logged as 'abuse' and then we will have to find out if it is worth it.

3) - Flat tax. 15% industrial, 10% commercial for businesses - %15 for individuals - Remove all gov't welfare for business.

4) - Broncos games will be a nat'l televised event, in fact i will refer to them as 'state of the unions'.

5) - massive education reform. I would hire TheDave, but i think he would plot to have me taken out, therefore i would probably tap his phone, and break into his office.

Lets draft ames for president. I am all over 3 and 4 without giving any thought to it. Need to recharrge my brain from a tough day before thinking about the other three, but 40% is better than any other candidate.

If the GOP runs McCain, and the jackasses run Hillary, it would be a great time for an independent candidate with deep pockets whos number 1 issue is immigration to run.

SPDirty If the GOP ran McCain the moderates would be sated and the bridge would be built. But he won't win. And if Hillary runs the GOP wouldn't dare put him up unless he swept the primaries. Just my opinion don't kill me here I 'm new

Naw, the Repubs just had to put Bush in the White House. Right now America doesn't care if it's Beavis and Butthead, oh wait, that is who is in the White House......
