I posted this on the other thread, so excuse the repost.

This is my son and me. Last year, my wife asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween, and he answered, "I want to be Dad." I kind of laughed, but he stuck with it. I was proud, to say the least.

I wear the glasses. The ones he is wearing are just frames.

Everyone we know wonders if I have him brainwashed regarding the Broncos - no idea where they come up with these crazy ideas!

For a Matt Leinart fan (and a cat-lover), you seem like a damn cool dude.

Heh. Thanks. I am less "cat-lover" and more "animal-lover." I've always been good with pets, and enjoy developing relationships with them, and especially training them in useful ways. For instance, my dog Ollie knows the command "shut the door," since he was a pup. That command has come in handy for almost a decade now (he turns ten in June). I've trained the cat to use the toilet... I hate maintaining litter boxes, and much prefer the convenience of a simple 'flush.' Right now, each of them have found a sunbeam in seperate parts of the house, and are enjoying a snooze. Heh... I've often enterntained the thought that my cat and I knew eachother in a past life. That cat loves me and is hardly ever far from my vision inside the house. Both animals are going to break my heart some day, so I take them in as much as I can and enjoy their friendship in large doses. I can't wait until my son is born to share the experience, and especially keep the dog on his toes. Ollie gets along great with kids, and he's about to get a new best friend.

:)

No, I got shafted by some dude who could actually act. (Though, to my credit.. I never got to try out.)

It was for "Walk the Line." The casting director (acquaintance) wanted to get me in the mix because I was an actual drummer. (Was for the part of Fluke, the drummer, of course.)

No ****?

Wow, major rep for that one. I've bowled in the 230s-240s a few times. I can't imagine rolling a perfect game. It's amazing how easy it is to throw the fist 6-7 strikes, and amazing how hard it is to roll the rest.

My friend said he was gonna be absent that nite so I told him he was gonna miss my first 700 series (joking around) and I bowled a 183, then I bowled a 249, and then I was on a roll. I was shaken so bad i couldn't hold my coffee with one hand. I get nervous after three strikes so by the tenth one I had tears in my eyes. Honestly the 11th one is the easiest of them all but that 12th one I took off my glasses b/c they were no good b/c of all the water in my eyes. I couldn't breathe. I just didn't want to gutter. I was happy with my seven hundred series and told myself not to be greedy at least I got that achievement. But i let go and I was aiming at the second arrow and it hit the first arrow. I thought it was over. But I guess God wanted me to have it b/c It hit solid and boom. It was a very sureal feeling. I still get goosebumps thining about it.

That's awesome. I start getting wobbly legs around the 6th frame if I'm all X's. Of course these days, I'm usually tipping back a few pops with my friends while we're bowling, so that can play a factor. The first drink actually helps calm the nerves if you've got a good game going. After that, it can be a little sketchy. :)

I love it. Wish I had more time for it. Grew up bowling on leagues. St. Louis... Bowling Hall of Fame, baby!

Let's Roll.

To be honest, Popps ... you're a good looking guy and all, but I wish I hadn't seen your shots. From now on I'll miss seeing Stewie in my head when I read your posts. I love that little bastard.

No, I got shafted by some dude who could actually act. (Though, to my credit.. I never got to try out.)

It was for "Walk the Line." The casting director (acquaintance) wanted to get me in the mix because I was an actual drummer. (Was for the part of Fluke, the drummer, of course.)

I love Johnny Cash. Would have been awesome to be a part of that. I've since retired from my acting career.

Clay Steakley beat you out for the part of Fluke?

I'll bet the fker can't even drum! But, he can act... which I suppose is a worthwhile detail to factor in.

I have hundreds of high-res pics from our wedding... it really was perfect. The photagrapher was incredible... she had 3 cameras and was going non-stop, yet seemingly un-noticed to us. The sized-down couple of pics I posted just don't do it justice.
