I went to YouTube and found highlights of all eighteen games, and put the links here for your viewing enjoyment. Click on the game to go to the highlights. Each highlight is about four minutes - very enjoyable.

I think there are one or two exceptions, but otherwise I think you're right.

I was just remembering a funny quote from Taco from the KC game.
"Nothing was more exciting than seeing the Rock come out. It was like a dream come true."

Fabulous stuff Dom Casual
Lots of geat Tater runs and it gives people here a chance to see how many big plays Lelie made for us too. Just watch the NE, Philly, Giants Radiers -2, Buffalo and quite a few others to enjoy those circus catches.
In the Raiders-two where he got his only dedicated opportunity where they told him in advance they were going to feature him, check out all the mid to short catches includign soem thrown behind him with nice RACs. Its a clear reminder that he can in fact do that job very well.

I just watched the whole season...
Warren was more an impact player than I realized.
Tatum Bell destroyed the Redskins. Broncos Defense wrecked Portis.
Trevor was an impact player but he was'nt always the first guy there.
Al Wilson is the man.
I cannot believe Ian Gold did as many big plays as he did.
How old is Rod Smith? DAYUM!! That guy is REALLY good.
#22 is really going to be good.
#27 has some springs. Wow that little guy is exciting
We have to make room on the roster for #14.
#33 IS a step faster than #38 but I liked the Marine.
...Websense has shut down the party.....Oh well. Good times.

Broncos Defense wrecked Portis.
The Chiefs did a better job. You must have a low standard for "Wrecking."

Yeah, and he should have had an easy touchdown against the Jets.. he was wide open by about 7 yards.. but the ball was horribly thrown. Damn I hope Shanahan can reconcile this thing with Lelie.. because Cutler's arm will make him more of a deep threat than he already is.

i made a thread about this the other day. u can really see lelie making great catches ad being wide open downfield. i believe i saw one ball that hit him somewhat in stride and by in stride i mean that he didnt have to turn his body, he just had to slow down significantly.

I tell you what - watching highlights of the Dallas game makes me feel all warm inside about Ron Dayne. He really hit the holes, and he looked about a half-step faster than Mike Anderson looked last year. If he can replicate that for sixteen games this year, he will be fine.

Im not giving up on Bell either, on many plays everyone else looked to be moving in slow mo' compared to him.

Oh, I totally agree. I liked how it worked last year. I am glad they've never decided to try and make Bell the primary rusher, because I don't think he's made for that. But it's great to have a guy out there that scares people.

See, i disagree, i think Bell CAN be a #1 guy given the chance. He hasnt ever really been given a chance for 20+ carries a game. But he hasnt exactly proven it either, but who knows, Dayne/Cobb/Bell all have equal shot at EARNING the job. (The way its supposed to be done, ASHLEY!!!)

Ron Dayne looked amazing.....I'm starting to feel pretty good about him being our featured guy...

Bell has had every opportunity to be the guy and he hasn't been able to step up...
I want a bruiser....Dayne fits the mold...Bell can be our change of pace guy...

So rushing for over 5 ypc. and over 900 yards on a backup role is not stepping up.
He has shown that he HAS stepped up when given the chance, but he needs to be given a chance for a full role.
But so has Dayne, so let TC decide the battle, im just in the boat that wants Bell to succeed. But i want Cobbs and Dayne to succeed as well.

I happen to like the Eagles game. Everything was working as Jake threw 309 yards and 4 touchdowns.

if i'm not mistaken....dayne had a larger ypc than bell!
anyway...to answer your question...NO...that is not considered stepping up...
being an everydown back and blocking well on each passing down and showing reliable hands as a receiver and being consistent and getting the tough yards when needing to and not fading down the stretch is considered stepping up....
we wanted him to be a 275 carry guy...900 yds was not what people had in mind for him...being a backup was not what we had in mind for him...he was SUPPOSED to beat out MA in training camp...but the guy just didn't...well....to put it best..."step up"

No kidding and when you just look at some of those acrobatic catches like against NE, Philly, Giants, SD, Oakland, Buflaloe, etc You realize how many of those circus catches would have been incomplete with almost anyone else trying to shag those.

Yes, Ashley should be angry about that. Had Plummer thrown a better pass it would have doubled Lelie's TD output for the season.
