That place is on lock down this time of year especially with guys like Frank running around. I wonder if he's going to mellow out a bit this year at camp or will he continue to terrorize small childeren who cross his imaginary boundry line.

That guy single handedly verbablly attacked no less than 1,000 Broncos fan last year trying to have a fun day at camp.

Who has a pic of our friend Frank so we can atleast warn you. lol

I was thinking about trying to get a photographers pass to either a mini camp or training camp. Maybe a game.

The OM seems like a media outlet to me. Maybe the OM can get a pass.

Our passing/rookie camp is supposed to be this week I thought?

Someone has GOT to know this? There was a even a Post article last week that made mention about a mid-May passing camp.

Waiting until July for everything seems awfully late. I know they liked the early June start last year as it gave the new guys a chance to finish school and then come here focused only on football.

But there is so much to learn and adjust to for rookies that if the first camp they have is not until early July that is cutting it too close in my view. Not to mention too damn long for all of us to sit here just whistlin' Dixie!

It takes time to absorb this stuff and if I was a rookie I'd appreciate the early exposure followed by a little break to digest it all

The passing Camp starts Tuesday. It will include all the rookies as far as I know. The Camp is closed to the Public and I believe has limited Media access.

The broncos have an antiquated policy of no web sites. Of course, that doesn't apply to their own website! Maybe we could go retro and put out a hard copy since newspapers get in. I've heard Frank is becoming legendary as a prick. He sounds fiercely terratorial.

There is a QB/WR camp soon. Regular mini-camp is July 6-8, the only one so late. Kubiak's is in early June. All others are in may. Shanahan thinks they retain more if it's close to regular camp.

our own conduit would be quite helpfull. The amusing thing is you can tell writers lurk here some of it borders on plagurism, and players lurk here for sure.

Just because it's not in ink doesn't mean it's not valid. Every newspaper is going to be inkless soon. When newspapers come out in the next morning slobbered by your loyal pup, breaking information is allready obsolete.

I understand their waryness, you can't let any tom dick and harry homemade lemonade site get in, yet Woody can walk in when he occasionally wanders into town from his cold Pizza show.

I want you to sit down now. I want all of you to sit down at your desks. I want you to sit down right now and go to your computers. Open it, and stick your head into the internet, and type, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' I want you to sit down right now, go to your computers, open them and stick your head into cyberspace and yell - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!...You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the Steelers and the Colts and the oil crisis. But first get into your chairs, open windows, stick your head into cyberspace, and yell, and type it: 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!'

Hey Med, are you sure of this?

I usually get some kind of media mailer, but haven't gotten one on the rook mini-camp.

I guess I can call tomorrow & find out, but I was pretty sure the QB/WR mini was the first week of June, or sometime along that schedule.

Believe me, it's not. Taco and I have been tap-dancing with this for some time. They aren't gving out passes to "new media." It's been difficult to figure out and the real press folk who post here have been just as stumped as me. The good news is that Mediator will be providing me a VIP pass when training camp starts off which is about almost good as a press pass, especially in terms of access.

By the way, this website says our first mini-camp starts July 6-8.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9413184

Denver Broncos July 6-8

You'll all recall that Shanahan moved all his camps to July because he felt that the players retained more and the focus was better. He also felt the longer break off made them a little more fresh.

Wabbit, and anyone. If you have any old passes or know how I could "find" one, even for some sum of moolah, let myself or Taco know. PLEASE.

Sire, your reports are legendary, you have already exposed Burger Bill and Andrew Mason as mere amateurs....you have proved your superior intellect and have shown that you are easily better than the rest at reporting camp developments, you do not need to prove it to Williamson again.

He tasks me! He tasks me! And I shall have him. I'll chase him
round the moons of Nibia and round the Antares malestrom and round

For you younger folks, one of the best avenues for gaining access to the inner workings of the Broncos is to apply for an internship with a media sports outlet here in Denver...or Aurora, or where-ever in the metro area.

Sometimes I think there are more college kids out there than regular media...riding on the coattails of the beat media.

If that's not really your lifes pursuit, you could petition the Bronco media relations claiming you're writing a college paper...something like that.

I know that's been the ticket for some folks, but it isn't a long term access answer.

Ha! SoCal, we have got to get to training camp as the boredom around here has become palaple heh.

Screw it gents, what we need is to sneak Khaaaan! into headquarters and learn from Wabbit in the ways of reporting. That way we can have our James Bond type mole sneaking around the innards of Dove Valley, creating havoc and getting us that 411 that we so desperately need to pass these long days before camp.

Khan: You still remember, Andrew...I cannot help but be touched. I ofcourse remember you.

Khan: Surely I have made my meaning plain, I wish to avenge myself upon you Andrew, I deprived your cameraman of equipment and when I swing around I wish to deprive you of your job....but first I wanted you to know who it was who had beaten you.

Mason: Khan...if its my job you want, i'll gladly resign...spare James Merilatt and the rest of my staff.

Khan: I make you a counterproposal, Andrew, I'll agree to your terms, if....if, in addition to your job, you hand over to me all data and materials relating to all of the offseason team activities, secret QB camps and all the **** that Shanny wont allow us to see, or read articles about till ****ing July.

Mason: Offseason QB camps, OTA's, unofficial minicamps....whats that?

Khan: Don't insult my intelligence, Andrew.

Mason: Give me some time to retrieve the information.

Khan: I give you sixty seconds, Andrew.

(after a pause)

Khan: fifteen seconds, Andrew

Mason: Please, you gotta give me time, my cellphone is smashed and my cameraman's equipment and video retrieval system is inoperative.

Khan: Time is a luxury, you dont have, Andrew.

Mason (after conferring with his assistant, Merilatt): Khan, how do I know you'll keep your word?

http://www.trekconnection.com/pictures/ST_2/PICTURES/other/09122002114226.jpg

Khan: Oh Ive given you no word to keep, Andrew, in my estimation, you simply have no alternative.

This is NOT a minicamp. This is an OTA camp that is not covered by the media as far as I know. It should be the first look at the new guys in team organized activities though. Walker will not particiapate I am sure due to his rehab.
