Several of us have now been sayin lets do whats best for America and maericans , well lets see if we agree on whats best .........
how about actually enforcing the IMMIGRATION laws we have? that would be a good start.

But we're not going to get anywhere with any of these issues until we impeach the dry drunk and his entire crime family.

If we don't get tough on immigration, our "American Dream" will be a distant memory 25 years from now. The future of our country hangs in the balance.
Those in Congress who wish to compromise our future and betray the American public to cater to an illegal population that can't vote (yet, anyway) and a corrupt corporate system designed to make the American middle class foot the country's and corporate America's expenses are going to bankrupt our country and destroy our country and the future of our children.
They are the true traitors to the American dream.

I doubt we'll ever be the same. I've heard the phrase "improvement requires change," but I can't say that the changes to our country in terms of population or where that population is coming from is all that positive. The invasion from the south has gotten old real quick and our government doesn't have much of a sense of urgency. If it took volunteers to build a wall and it could be well organized to secure a large number of people to do it, I'd be there.

Well, the proper way to respond would be...Mr. Tensi, I must say, I do disagree with your comment because...then you would go a long way to extending the olive barnch towards a more civil place here.

The biggest problem with immigration is that we refuse to act to control illegal low wage immigrants, while we continue to restrict the inflow of educated professional immigrants into the country.

I dont think when people are talking about sealing the boarder they mean no more "legal" immigration. The problem is it needs to be kept in check in terms of #'s. I agree we need immigration but on a restricted level.

Back to the title of this thread I think we can all agree the very best thing for America would be to put me in charge for a few years. Id get some **** taken care of. My first priority would be to get me some interns but after that Id fix every one of our problems in short order.

If a water pipe is broken, and water is continuing to spew from the break, you can't fix it without first shutting off the water to the pipe (OR put a patch on the pipe to stop the water) first. It's the same with the illegal immigrants, you have to stop the influx of illegal aliens before you can repair the pipe...dman
