So is Rick Smith gone?

What does he provide...

Will we miss him?

I guess Sundquist will have to find someone else to get him his coffee and krispy kremes.

Hope that was sarcasm because it definitely wasn't funny.

Smith has done a great job for the team. I believe I read somewhere he was the man brokering the trade for Champ and assisting in the acquisition of the former Browns last year.

I wish him well if he is selected by the Texans.

Well it is a step up so you definatly cant fault him for moving on it. I think the Texans are our JV team now most of there managment came from here. Who ever they hire to replace him will probably get the job done well also, we do hire in good FO possitions.

If that's who they are targeting we can't stop him if he wants to go because it's not a sideways move. We could move Sundquist to another "postion" and promote him tho. Make him like President of Football operations or some other title Shanny has. That damn Kubiak just won't go away. I have to hand it to him, he's taking the Cow down in ole Teaksaas by the horns and has allready pulled a powerplay on Casserly, who looked like an absolute baboon denying that Bush's rather shady revelations didn't infulence their choice. Now if SuperMario is a bust and Bush is the next Gayle Sayers, Pube's back is covered. Brilliant. Now if he can just find some wide bodies to cover Carr's.
