I have heard a lot of the talk about us picking up some veterans after the June cuts to fill in the gaps especially at DT. But i was wondering if we are going to have to cut anyone ourselves? Any Broncos looking like they will be victims of the cuts in June?

With the huge jump in the cap, June 1st cuts are going to be slim pickins IMO. They also changed the rule where you can waive 2 veterans before June 1 but treat the salary cap figures like a June 1 cut

I didn't know the second part of your post. I was thinking there would be some cuts just to dump bloated salaries. Maybe not if what you say is true, William.

I've heard some people speculate that Curome Cox is in danger of being on the chopping block, but I think he played very well last year in his role and is worthy of his roster spot...

Not for salary cap reasons though. He is in a crowded safety group, but his versatility and ST's play will at least put him through Training camp I believe.
The June 1st cuts have been practically eliminated through the New CBA:
1. They increased the Cap enough that teams should not have to Dump High salary productive veterans this year.
2. The aforementioned 2 Veteran exemption allows for the same type of savings to teams who cut players whose Production does not = salary.
3. Denver already jettisoned Pryce, Anderson, and Putzier for reason #2.

I just wish some team would cut anybody, just so we would have some football to talk about.
