Man, this year my allergies really seem to be kicking my rear-end. I mowed the yard yesterday and today my eyes are like burning embers of coal. This year seems to be worse than any other year I can recall. Maybe it was the super mild winter, and we have a new strain of allergin in the air or something??? Claritin doesn't help, Rx eyedrops don't seem to help, I am totally miserable!

Mine are terrible this year.

I just went to the doctor this morning. Beyond the normal sniffling, sneezing, runny nose, eye irritation I get, I've also been breaking out in hives and wake up in the morning with some random part of my body swollen. This morning it was my lip, which blew up to about 3x its size. Strange stuff.

I'm 29 and never had allergies until last year. Starting last year my nose would run like crazy and I'd cough up lung-snot any time I cut the grass.

This year I just get in the car and drive with the window down and my eyes produce an insane amount of eye boogers, nose running, phlem in the lungs, etc.

God I miss Vegas...

I stay up all night, sitting in my chair, dozing between coughs, and my wife bitches I made too much noise.

....an easy solution to all of those allergies is as follows: Fill kitchen sink with cold water, stick head into cold water, count to 2000!

No lie man, it seems it has been much worse thus far for me. Even Clariton isnt doing the trick for me or my wife. Sucks bigtime.

Yes, it's bad here in the lovely Northeast too. Bad enough that people are talking about it.

yes my daughter is struggling. She has had to have her breathing treatments this past week. The last time she had one before that was probably last year.

It's been pretty bad for me too. For a while Zicam was working pretty well, but it seems like the effectiveness of that wore off. It hasn't been this bad for me in a few years.

This is the worst year I can remember. Mine are bad but my wife's are terrible. 3 times she's started wheezing so bad I thought I'd have to take her down to the emergency room. She's never had any history of asthma but the doctor has her using an inhaler and a smorgasboard of other allergy meds now.

My eyes started getting swollen in Diego on NYE ...I went to my eye doctor in March and he said he had seen 6 patients already that day including me with swollen, itchy, watery, red eyes...He put me on Alrex...by Bausch and Lomb...dang drops are $36 with insurance for 2 5 ml bottles!

The old lady has always had bad allergies and I think I'm developing them. Stuffy alot of the time, sneezing and watery eyes. It's mild though compared to the way she gets. She gets sinus headaches so bad she asks me to drill a hole in her cheek to drain everything :)

I haven't been whacked by this garbage yet this year, although this is usually the time when I use an inhaler 300 times a day. Maybe there's something to be said for getting shot up every three weeks.
