Two big arguments in my keeper league: Larry Johnson is/isn't a top 5 fantasy RB and Champ Bailey is/isn't a top 5 fantasy D player.
Our HB scoring is typical: 1 pt every 10 yards rushing/recieving, 6 pts per TD, 1 pt every 5 rec/carries, -2 pts per fumble, etc...
D players: 4 PTS per INT, 2 pts for ff/fr, 2 pts per tackle, 4 pts per sack, 12 pts per TD, 12 pts per KR/PR for TD...

Little Larry is out of his diapers and Holmes neck is still an issue.
Our corners have matured and they will test the Champ.

LJ can be argued at top 5 but with the 4th best 9 game stretch in NFL HISTORY he's earned the starting job.

You're completely ****ing insane. There isn't a CB in the NFL that can challenge Champ right now...

Of course not, that's why he got 6 picks. Noone challenged him.

I would say ya LJ is a top five pick, but in a keeper league Its a bit more cloudy. Two 12 time probowlers are set to retire next year. Gonzo is going to be a FA and your best WR is still an aging Eddie Kennison. Everyone says our system is ehat makes our RBs great. So is it your system, Dominant Oline or the RBs? I think LJ is the #1 pick this year if that is any indicator.
As to Champ, No he is not a top 5 pick for fantasy. Until we show that we can constantly get to the QB will he become one.
This is just Fantasy and nothing to do with top 5 in NFL at position.

LJ is a top 2 pick. I would have a hard time taking him over Tomlinson though. Alexander lost Hutch, should hurt his value.

If I had the number one pick in a fantasy draft this coming season, Larry Johnson would be my pick.

quoted for truth.
LJ is easily top 5 this year, but as far as keeper material it's tough to say. Another risk with him is the way he runs which is prone to injuries. He hasn't had any but the way he runs one has to assume that those will come.

DB's are hard to pick for fantasy, if you look at the stats I don't beleive just one DB was a INT leader for more than just one year, when they are too good teams won't throw at them, most times I have my best success picking a DB that also returns kicks/punts a little bit of the triple threat. But LJ would be one to keep. Remember fantasy football is about using your head not your heart and getting your favorite players. I would for sure agree that Champ is one of the elite CB's in the NFL today but fantasy numbers are often different.

Right. A lot of pre-season outlets are going to have LJ as the #1 player on the big board. His season last year was out of sight, fantasy wise, and LT is basically playing with a rookie QB.
